I watched The Misfit of Demon King Academy
It's another one of those power fantasy series, though not an isekai. Instead, the protagonist is the reincarnation of the demon king from 2000 years ago, complete with his former memories and a strong fraction of his power. Since society has declined in power even as peace has proliferated, he's overwhelmingly stronger than everybody else, though he is at some points a fish out of water. He basically lets others label him, until they cross his bottom line, at which point he retaliates hard.
So, my thoughts...I enjoyed the protagonist, at least. Unlike a lot of other overpowered protagonists, he isn't socially awkward one bit, outside of the occasional fish-out-of-water moments. There's no 'blushing and stuttering in front of pretty girls' moments or any of that crud. Heck, he puts two rings on the same girl two episodes apart (though it's implied that doing so as a marriage proposal wasn't really a thing in his former life), and at one point when he frees another girl from an imprisonment spell, he isn't even fazed when she comes out naked, except to give her a cloak to wear.
Probably my two biggest issues are pacing and the antagonist. As far as pacing goes, it seems really weird. The first few episodes move really quick with the plot beats, and then suddenly the last 8 episodes are two back-to-back arcs that slow everything down drastically. As for the antagonist, while we get our epic final battle and everything, a lot of the storyline is set-up by the antagonist who actually had all the reason in the world to talk to the protagonist once he reincarnated, and they don't even have any reason like foolish pride or whatever not to talk to each other. Instead, they don't, and we get the finale. Very strange development completely out of contrast to their informed characterisations.
Also, while the dub voices were decent, with the protagonist having a suitably deeper voice (as it should be!), there's some singing moments that aren't in English, and also aren't subtitled. Big oof there, because I have no idea what they're saying.
