A Prologue/Fight scene I had lying around

IÆve been hemming and hawing whether or not to post this, so I finally decided to just say screw it ant toss it onto here. ItÆs a prologue I wrote and had no idea what to do with. If someone wants to use it theyÆre free to.

Some time after the King incident:

Dr. Light took a step back and another as what could only fit the term of æPsycho Killer RobotÆ advanced on him. He had only been testing some of XÆs armors this morning when things had gone wrong, he remembered installing the memory backups of Rock and Blues into two of them this morning, did Blues really harbor this much resentment towards him?

Blues had come to live with Rock, Roll, Auto, and himself months ago. And had agreed to let a backup of himself be installed into the prototype reploid to partially control it.

And now this, Rock lay crumpled in a corner and Blues himself was in worse shape by the door having taken two full charged shots from the prototype testing the ultimate armor and controlled by his own backup memories. BluesÆ trademark scarf was clutched tightly in the mad botsÆ hand as it advanced on Dr. Light with eyes that glowed an eerie white that spoke of insanity.

He took another step back and bumped into one of the pods that stood in the semi large room. Risking a look back he saw the Prototype that was to test the new specially combat coded AI under battle conditions, it also sported access to three of the armors he had created and was currently wearing the dense Gaea Armor, MegamanÆs backups were also graced upon it.

ôKyyaaaaaaaa!!ö

ôNO! Roll Run!ö

Roll had leapt into the room from the door and scored a flying kick against the reploidÆs head, it didnÆt flinch and knocked her against the wall and turned back to the good doctor who had taken the moment of itÆs distraction to punch in a five numbered code into the pod and watch as the prototype within the capsule shook slightly and remained silent no matted how he bellowed for it to destroy the target.

Roll was up again in a moment and gave the bot a hard spin-kick to itÆs lower back, it stumbled slightly before turning around and seizing her in itÆs large hands and began trying to pull her apart, she yelped and then screamed.

ôRoll! ROLL!ö

In the pod eyes opened slightly and milliseconds passed like minutes for the awareness there. The combat AI was confused there were no targets properly designated but something had stirred it from the blissful nothingness, something from within the backups, visions flashed through the active memory as it accessed RockÆs memories, and found the blond haired ægirlÆ within them, it saw the violence being done and something from within the backups called out to protect her and vengeance against all that tried to stop it.

Dr. Light jumped as a Gaea armored hand punched through the transparent alloy like it was so much paper, and a form with black armor with white highlights with that had bands that looked as if they had been riveted to it dashed into the open air moving much faster that Dr. Light had ever predicted it would, landing within arms reach of its target. The Ultimate armor clad Reploid was surprised enough to drop Roll who fell like a sack of potatoes and didnÆt stir.

One armored hand reached up to grasp the helmet of the ultimate armor crushing the crest like a flimsy tin can in a trash compacter against itÆs palm. With no sign of strain the Gaea clad prototype hurled the offender into the wall hard enough to leave an indentation six inches deep in the titanium. In no way did that put it down though; it pried itself out of the wall and was currently charging up another Buster shot.

Strangely as Dr. Light sat next to the pods shattered remains of the transparent cover scattered around him he remembered the designations of the two fighting before him. The Ultimate armored Berserker was labeled DLN - # 00X û GNT, and his opponent was DLN - # 00X ûVNT. It was odd how shock and fearing for ones life brought such things to the top of ones mind.

X-V charged G but was forced to back off from the hail of Buster shots that peppered against its armor, its AI took stock of the situation.

Four strobes of light filled the room as VÆs armor shifted from Gaea to Falcon, the white, blue, and gold armor shone in the light of the room and the thrusters shifted on itÆs back from their dormant positions flat against the back of the torso armor to jutting out like stubby wings. Less than a moment later they began to blowtorch with fiery blue thrust emissions lifting the Reploid into the air.

Both of VÆs fore arms became busters and started blazing down at G who took a few hits and replied with itÆs own weapons and landed a full charged shot on itÆs now flying opponent. The thrusters were crushed between the reploidÆs weight and the wall he slammed against and some of the plasma that the shot left behind burned deep pits into the white armor. He fell to the floor dazed and in a moment was struggling to stand.

Just before the final part of the download the backups sent a broken up command floating up to the active memory, æProt*#^ Roll? $nd&^*%ightÆ Light flashed again as the armor changed to an undamaged set, the black armor did not reflect the flickering light of the lab and V raised itÆs left arm and fired and unending stream of shurikan shaped plasma shots with alarming precision.

Type G jerked with each hit the blades of the shot clawed into its armor each would stay a moment before dissipating all in all they were rapidly digging through the armor and into delicate circuits and organ like systems beneath it. Desperate raving eyes looked into dispassionate calculating brown ones and then there was only static before the bliss of non-existence. Type V didnÆt stop firing until its buster short-circuited from heat build up.

With that type V walked to RollÆs still form and a voice came from a synthesizer meant only to give status reports, it sounded discordant and vaguely like RockÆs.

ôRollàö And it went to standby mode, its eyes went blank and the reploid stiffened up to hold itself upright. Dr. Light found himself the only visibly active thing in the room, a stink of oil and burnt circuits filled his nostrils as he stood up visibly shaken and stumbled over to the door to get stretchers for his children.
