A summary to forget...

I always have to wonder if the people who write fics like that even read the books in the first place.

I'm sure that they have, they just have a twisted view of human psychology.

It's just, how can people think Harry's parents would abandon him when they were willing to die for him the books?

This reads like one of those shitty 10-12 pre-teen "romance" books.

Fate Recast by MM007
Shirou Emiya died in the final battle with Kirei Kotomine. Artoria Pendragon, who returned to her time with the scabbard after destroying the Holy Grail, does not take it well. Fortunately, being in the past allows her to make plans to go off the rails to resolve this tragedy... Shirou x Artoria x Accidental Harem, Strong Shirou in future chapters. Currently in Fate/Zero era.
Fate/stay night - Rated: T - English - Supernatural - Chapters: 15 - Words: 149,863 - Reviews: 357 - Favs: 1,374 - Follows: 1,666 - Updated: Apr 23 - Published: Sep 11, 2020
It's less that the summary is bad here, and more that the summary is a blatant lie. Shirou is basically a secondary character at this point, and Saber is little better than background dressing. The actual story seems more about Sakura and her connection with Morgan than anything else.

Bad summaries are annoying. False summaries should have their fics removed.

"Read the intro chapter for the full summery. Enjoy the refrences."

Uh, no. And not only is that summary totally useless for the front page, the first chapter doesn't actually have a summary crammed somewhere inconvenient, like the author's notes or foreword. It's just...the first of a multi-chapter work.

"Natasha Romonaoff and Hawkeye found themselves teleported into another world, only they were now babies. As they grew up they discovered their magic, they knew about magic before, 'how' you might ask. Simple, they had known thanks to Natasha's dead husband who had actually travelled to their world from his own, his name was Harry Potter. And guess what, he's alive and young now."

I know of course of Harry Potter... I had to look up Natasha Romonaoff because while I am aware of Black idow, I did not know the character name. But the only Hawkeye to come to mind is Hawkeye Pierce from MASH, and that just sounds all sorts of bad.

In this context, Hawkeye likely refers to Clint Barton, Jeremy Renner's character from the MCU, and the owner of the Hawkeye name before Kate Bishop.

Yeah... once I looked him up, that does make far more sense... I am so not up to date on comics or cinema universes.

I do not think I've seen all that many non-cartoon based superhero movies in the last couple decades... the X-men ones with Patric Stewart, the first Iron Man, the first Spider Man, and the first two Fantasic Four (my mom is a fan), and the Thor movies(if they count) and part of Aqua Man (mom again). I have been tempted to see the Wonder Woman movie from a few years ago, but have not done so yet. I've seen a few bits and pieces of a half dozen or so others (like later spider man movies, WTH happened to MJ, ick). I know of two differing Shield attempts, one with a black guy and one with David Hasselhoff.

Nothing I've watched though has managed to keep my interest though. Terrible plots, resets, and bad acting galore. I just don't get how Iron Man for example could possibly have been popular.

Last cartoon/anime of superheroes of this type I think would probably be Wolverine and the X-Men (I really liked it, but no other seasons)... oh and the first episode each of X-Men and Wolverine manga style cartoons from ten years ago... Blegh...

EDIT: I take that back... there was one I have seen, if you count it, as a animated superhero series.... The first season and 3/4ths of the second season of Where in the World is Carmen Sandiago... quite the innovative remastering of the tried and true concept...

To be fair, an HP/Avengers/M*A*S*H crossover would be an interesting idea, if done right.

While hardly a fan boy, I quite liked the series MASH, as zany and wacky as it was it had a lot going for it, and see why it was as popular as it was... And I actually have read fan fiction with characters from MASH before, at least one Ranma crossover, and there is an interesting Gate story that crosses a few things together... including a altered history for MASH...

I know of the Gate one and it is probably one reason I read it, I love seeing the interaction of the MASH crew in the setting. It's interesting reading both Blake and Potter being there at the same time, just wish there was more jokes from Pierce and company about the alcoholic names of Pina and her knights.

Well... the Gate one wanted to play homage to all the mash characters, so it is not just Potter/Blake, it also has
Winchester/Burns, and Hunnicutt/McIntyre, it also calls them 407th, not 4077thh
