A writers directory?

Basically I was thinking of more of a general information thread for writers with problem area's in their writing style. Wether it's trouble with descriptions, character development, creating characters, setting, or simply lack of vocabulary.

I know I have some definite problems so maybe we could brainstorm ways around them.

EDIT: A good idea IMO, would be to develop a list of descriptive words and advice on how to use them and where.

The problem I would see with something like that, is who would be commenting? The writers on their own stuff, or the readers.

I ask as it seems to me in my experience a lot of writers do not recognize their own shortcomings. Or even ar strong in areas they think they are weak in.

Besides, is not that sort of thing what the individual Talk sections are for?

They could certainly be used for something like that.

Though the General Fanfiction and either Talk or Resources subforums would likely be a better place for it.
