For those who don't knwo, Lowe Gear is from the Gundam Seed Astray manga. He's the pilot of the Red Frame, a prototype for the mass produced MS from Orb.
And on a discussion on 4chan /m/, I saw him described as a 'dumpster-diving Ryusei with an engineering degree'.
Which left the question, what if those two met ? Given that Lowe managed to turn what was essentialy a mass produced mobile suit into something able to wield a 150m tall sword, I wonder what he could do to the R-1. T-link amplifier, so that a 150m long t-link sword can come out ? Shishio Blade for everyone ? Both of them drooling on any new mecha ?
I imagine this in a fusion settings, so as not to overflow the cast. Give Lowe and pals MP huckenbein instead of the astray series for exemple, and you don't have to cross the entire GS universe with the OG one.
Idea is up for grab since I'm not too much of a writer, but I may do something like that (one day...).
