AdNauseam: New kind of adblocker that actively screws with tracking.

Works for Opera or Firefox browsers.

The only thing you should ever use Microsoft Edge/Explorer for is to download a better web browser. Chrome should only ever be used if you don't care about your privacy at all.

This does not work on Chrome because Google has banned it from their browser because this kind of tracking is kind of what they do.

It acts just like UBlock Origin [it's actually a modified version of that program] and blocks ads on your end, but with an added bonus. It can be set to send clicks to ads that track your activity and pollutes the data making it useless, thus making aggressive and invasive tracking less profitable for them, and more secure and private for you.

Note that this replaces an adblocker, so disable the one you're using if you decide to install it.

I researched it before I installed it and it's legit, from some of the same people who work on UBlock Origin. Works as advertised so far, but can cause pages with tons of ads to load a little slower.

It's also free, so there's no profit motive here. There's no ads to deal with here, because that what it exists to prevent.

It's been getting mild levels of industry press as well.

It's an extension of UBlock Origin, which I've been using for years and is hands down the best adblocker plugin available right now.

I don't really see what's sketchy about it.
