Does anyone have a setting/lore/weapons Description for Monte Cook's Tides of Numenera. That settings seems like it might have some fun toys to sprinkle throughout the land of Ooo.

Then again since multiple realities have been confirmed in series having Finn find a gateway to Sigil could prove interesting....

Princess Bubblegum sisters.

When PB was "created" by her ancestor in reality she wasn't the only one a princess of each gum flavor was born, they were defeated and sealed by Bonibel in a competence or by betrayal (something like a queen bee that has to kill it's sisters when she gets out of the cocoon).

Now they are awake, probably for a stupid mistake Cinammon Bun did.

If PB is tutti fruty gum flavor (at least in my country) there should be another 6 sisters:

-White sister (Mint)
-Green sister (Apple flavor)
-Blue sister (Double mint)
-Purple sister (Blueberry)
-Red Sister (Cinnamon)
-Yellow Sister (Banana)

So now what the hell does Finn with 7 princess all a little mad in different ways

I think Pink would just be plain Bubblegum flavor

But, it could be cool, especially if each was represented as a different neuroses, kinda like different paths to Madness in Soul Eater.

Just a couple ideas...

Mint: A sort of overly clean with an extreme case of OCD reflecting the minty clean freshness

Cinnamon: Sorta spicy, overly seductive and lustful, could see her making some serious enemies like with Flame Princess (Also some laughs if she meets the Ice King "I'm not THAT desperate")

Or maybe the seven PBs are seven sins (I could see Bonnibel as Pride)

So PB is Pride

PCG (Princess Cinnamon Gum) is Wrath

PTFG (Tropical Fruit) is Lust

PBG is Sloth

PMG is Greed

PAG Is Envy

Princess Bannagum is Gluttony

PB's Pride won't let her date/love Finn....but it also causes her to jealously guards his affection/attention

PTFG and PAG both want Finn though their reasons and end states are different.....

Hmmm it's worth playing with.

Princess Cinnamon Gum kinda makes sense, a hot headed Princess coinciding with her hot Cinnamon. I could see her with possible fire powers and a desire to beat on anyone in her way (Ice King, FP, maybe Finn if he tries to fend off others).

Princess Apple Gum, being green, kinda fits for Envy, and I could see her food dying herself pink and taking PB's place (Be kinda funny if she ended up being a better ruler than PB ).

Princess Blueberry Gum probably wouldn't be a problem unless you tripped over her, or one of the other Princesses convince her to help (Maybe in exchange for a cuddle-buddy to sleep with, actually sleep)

Princess Banana Gum could be a kinda serious threat since, you know, all the subjects are edible.

Princess Mint Gum and Tropical Fruit Gum might end up at odds over Finn eventually (As well as at odds with FP), but if they're going into his home, Mint would at least be somewhat distracted by his treasure pile, giving TF a head start (I'd also see Mint trying to steal the Ice Crown and other Gems of Power)

In a battle against the Lich a 18 years old Finn is about to finish him when in a last attempt the Lich activates a temporal spell hoping to sent him at a time where he could be easily destroyed Finn is protected by a mcguffin, the point it's that he is sent about 1000 years in the past a few years after the Mushrom war.

There Finn encounter a just converted Marceline yet not the vampire queen, whitout PB the only way to return to the future it's looking for the Enchyridion and the gems.

Marceline should be dating Ash so Finn has to help her there, she is his best budy, also at that point she was a shrinking violet and very submisive if her attitude with Ash it's any indicative, so she ends developing a crush in Finn with time after they start looking for the book and the gems, add a few attacks of the vampire king trying to get his hands in the daugther of the lorf of the nightosphere, an not yet loveable Ice king and all the dangers of an Earth that still is not Ooo and well it would be epic.

Thoughts?

My first thought is that Ash probably isn't that old. His dating Marceline is fairly recent to the story-line, given that it was when she lived in the tree house, and the tree-house wasn't around a thousand years ago

Always thought she started traveling when she dumped Ash, he is some sort of magic demon, he should have a long life span, plus when Marceline was with PB she was already a musician or at least with a heavy interest in music (the t-shirt) still the idea still aplies even if it is a few centuries and not a full millenium, she wasn't (IMO) vampire queen when she was dating Ash

Oh, Ash is immortal (Though I think he's a wizard), but I think his dating Marceline was pretty recent, and I don't think her being Vampire Queen had anything to do with any of it (Really, it's not like we really see her do anything official, is it?)

Pretty much, hell I think the title was adquired by accident or at least I don't think Marceline was looking for it, the point of the idea is to see marceline developing from a timid almost submissive girl to the almost badass girl she is now (almost badass because most of her attitude was a front IMHO) without all the betrayal, the point of the Vampire king it's just an excuse to see Marceline and Finn kicking ass.

If she wasn't dating Ash at the time still is not problem for the idea that was just a plot point

Far into the distant future. I, The Lich, the master of death and mutation, unleashed an unspeakable Evil. However, a foolish Human warrior weilding a demon sword stepped forth to oppose me.

Before the final blow could be struck, I tore open a portal in time and flung him into the past. Where my evil is LAW!

Now the fool seeks to return to the present, and undo the works of THE LICH!

Wacha!

XD precisely, was watching Samurai Jack when i did have the idea, but the future was too cliche, plus any future where the Lich wins ends in total aniquilation not conquest like with Aku.

So I don't know, Finn trows the demon sword at the Lich and destabilize the portal or he has some sort of protection from PB, or in the portal he stab it (that's something Finn would do)

Since Adult Finn was voiced by Jonathan Frakes I figure we can play with the idea that he either becomes a William Riker style ladies man, or a cold, clever, and ruthless 'hero' like David Xanatos when he get's older....

Okay, building off of recent episodes, specifically Frost and Fire...

The dream with the Cosmic Owl, what if he was talking about something else when he said Finn blew it? If the Cosmic Owl is in the space between worlds...who else is there?

The dream was actually a set-up by The Lich, a part of his plan to be freed from the space between worlds and to again reek havoc and end life. The Cosmic Owl was originally trying to warn finn, but by the time he was able to, it was already too late and Finn had blown his chances, the battle between Ice King and the Flame Princess being the start of a chain of events in the Lich's master plan.

Finn and FP break up, Finn's actions causing the destruction of the Ice Kingdom creating a rift both between him and the Ice King, but Marceline as well, and Princess Bubblegum is dealing with the fall out of the battle, angry and disappointed at Finn, all isolating the boy.

Will Finn pull through? Will the Lich return?

I have no idea, that's all I got

;) Hmmm...No reply in two months...This must be fixed!

This is just a random little blurb that popped into my head while I was playing a certain videogame today...

Basically, Finn and Jake come over to visit while PB is working on a portal device, based off of the jewel in her crown, but something goes horribly wrong, and Finn is lost through a random portal.

PB is able to get the portal back open within a few hours, but when she, Jake and Marceline go through, they are surprised by what they find...

The trio stepped forward, setting foot onto sand as the portal closed behind them. They were on a beach, waves lapping against the shore

Well, a few months with no activity...That has to be remedied!

So, Finn starts having weird dreams, migraine headaches, memory loss and a number of odd injuries he can't remember getting. Worried about the hero, PB does every test she can but can't find anything Physically wrong with him, until she keeps him under observation. She notices Finn acting odd, muttering about madness, and is about to check when he shifts, suddenly attacking himself, arguing with himself. Jake and Marceline manage to restrain him, but it's only later under Hypnosis that PB is able to find the cause.

Finn's mind is being torn apart by two other, opposing psyches, one a farm boy, broken and seeking to cover the world in ice, the other an aged hero who tries to stop him, but wants to return home to his family.

Now Finn's friend have to find a way to save Finn while trying to figure out where to other Finn's with whole lifetimes of memories came from.

Interesting whitewhiskey. How would they save him? I know who the farmboy is but who is the age hero? The realm of pillows Finn?

Also, how will they save him? Entering Finn's mind? Questing for some artefact? Something else?

For entering Finn's mind, they could just use whatev Finn used to help Marcy break-up with Ash again.

But this fic or idea will require a maximum amount of feels.

Yeah, it's the Ice Prince/Farmland Finn vs. Puhoy Finn.

I hadn't thought of the end, just the beginning because Finn did, in some way, live through Puhoy and, while there was a time-retcon, The Ice Crown is an item able to unlock the multi-verse and has lasting effects even after being removed after short exposure.

The difference, though, is that these are more than just memories, these are entire personalities with lives of their own, in a way. If you manage to pull them out like they did Marcy's Memory, you're left with an old hero away from home and a batshit crazy boy who will probably try and battle Simon for the crown.

New idea, FP either doesn't call or calls late enough that she doesn't distract Finn from telling Jake and Bmo about pillow-world, thus allowing him to latch onto the memories completely. Thus he has the memories of a full life as a mature father and grandfather to help guide him though his further adventures in Ooo. He might even get to the point where he want to try to get back there or bring his wife and kids to Ooo if that's possible.
