*Sigh* okay PB, getting rid of the Cameras was good.....putting tacking devices in all your subjects is bad.

Also....I really hope the ending was implying that the Ice Crown found some animal to take over and thus Simon was free of it's influence.

Just saw the latest episode....not sure if Finn and Jake did the right thing but I can't blame them for their actions. Magic Man's madness leads him to screw people over just on principle, so I have to figure him becoming the new Grod would be bad, and that Betty was hosed either way.

The really big problem is this creature "GOLB" Magic Man mentioned since I am pretty damned sure that's the same thing that Finn ran into at the end of 'Puhoy'. I mean the Lich's status is still 'undetermined, bears watching' so the last thing they need right now is some new cosmic horror rampaging across the world.

Why do I feel like it's going to come down to Simon saving or stopping Betty when this is all said and done? On an almost plus side, she is a wizard/witch herself now apparently.

Hopefully she can keep it together, we shall see... As for tonight's episode....leaving Sweet Pea on Tree Trunks doorstep was apparently the right move as her love and kindness appears to be keeping the Lich in check for now. That said, the fact the real comet is on the way is cause for concern....especially since Martin killed Grod already.

So now both Simon and Betty are infected by madness. Man magic is starting to suck.

I figure this is actually going to end up with the now sane Magic Man ending up as the new Grod somehow. It just seems to fit.

Well...Gunther really IS the most evil thing on the planet.....I mean I knew he was up there but this....confirmation that he's a cosmic horror....just drives it home.

Interesting. Judging from where the Gunter beam was coming from, Ooo is in the giant crater on the Earth. This could bring seasons of new content.

Well......that was a heck of a ride....

Finn....I think you've begun the next stage of your adventures, good luck, it gets no easier from here.

>Martin becomes a cosmic being
>He's currently experiencing both the Beginning, and the End
>Decides to fuck the Catalyst, because "Hey, why not?"
>Finn's comet is made
>It's a cosmic crime to mate with a cosmic being
>He decides to fuck off, and be human again
>He's back to square one
>He keeps repeating the same thing over and over again
>This is why he's terrible at keeping track of time
>He's constantly repeating everything over and over for eternity
>Even experiencing the Beginning and the End simultaneously

Convoluted and all that but if true...Finn's dad just screwed himself over for all time.

Okay, first off kudos for Gunter trying to overcome his destiny as a cosmic horror. Second why was he named Gunter, complete with monogrammed sail on his ship, when naming any of the penguins "Gunter" was a tick of Ice King as part of his channeling of Evergreen's powers through the crown because of the original Gunter's madness when he first used it? I am confused.

Dhampyr....make sure you watch the following ALL the way to till the end, as there's an after credits scene you should see.

Nice one Ordo. Marceline always gets her man. She just wants to be the one to take the initiative instead of the one being romanced.

Not going to lie.....that end credit scene really is plausible. I tend to ascribe to the "Marceline is just being playful" school of thought, but even with that basis her turning the tables on Finn like that is all too plausible. Hmmm....how WOULD things change if Marceline had done that.......

Dat end credit scene.
This is based on an Adventure time VR demo I have. It's the cave Marceline lives in and her house. It's the exact same environment and all the Marceline character model is the same model used. Marceline floats around the house like an NPC with a few idle animations, and BMO wanders around and acts as the menu.

In the demo I speak of you can get her clothes off if you do a bunch of stuff and input a secret code. I did it just to do it, but it wasn't anything special. She just does the same idles in the nude and it's mildly amusing for a short time. It was actually more interesting to just wander around the environment exploring.

There's a video of a guy playing that demo on the Oculus on Youtube. Censors out the nudity code, though.

I have to admit it is a weird sensation to be able to walk up to established characters or wander in places I've seen in animation before. Someone recreated the Family Guy house as well, and that was very surreal in VR. There are a few other demos that do similar things with established places.

One demo lets you walk around the areas of the Millennium Falcon that are shown in the movies, another has you on a Star Destroyer Bridge as Darth Vader, there's one for Serenity, various Star Trek bridges, and all sorts of places that just send tingles down the spine to explore that way.

I love that thing, even though I don't use it as much as I used too, I still love it. Zero regret for that purchase, but to anyone interested I'd say just wait on the retail version at this point. No way I'm missing out on the retail version when it is released. I'll probably pick up a Vive as well as both will have exclusive content.

Marceline Mini-Series

In the first episode, Princess Bubblegum has created a vampire cure involving potions and a machine, and Marceline decides she no longer wants to be a vampire—that she is ready to “grow up” and eventually die as a human. Marceline takes the cure, and it will take a few days to see if it works. Through a sequence of events, Marceline is thrown into flashback-mode, and we see her as a young child with her mother (her mother is voiced by Steven Universe creator Rebecca Sugar, and sings a song composed by Sugar
Finn/Marceline Shippers the world over: "Finn, why don't you come here and hold Marceline's hand while she takes this difficult journey..."

We then see Marceline in several successive eras of her life, from childhood through a punk-rock adolescence to her days of hunting other vampires and acquiring their powers.
That's....badass actually, and an easy way to fuse the old anime Vampire Hunter D with Marceline's storyline in Adventure Time (Or would Hellsing be better? Perhaps Castlevania Lords of Shadow 2?)

The second episode ends with the suggestion that the cure for vampirism has worked, just when the creepy Vampire King and his posse are threatening the present-day Land of Ooo and Marceline’s friends are in danger.
Son of a BITCH!

Umm, Marceline was never a human. She's half human half whatever the hell Abadeer is. And she would have lived from the mushroom war to now, but she would have been an old lady. Did they forget the whole Farmworld Finn arc?

May have just been a slip of the tongue in all honesty, since some of the Shots show her with the ears and off white skin but no puncture wounds.

I don't think Ward is involved with this. He's off working on the movie or something as I recall. He's stepped down as head writer and according to Muto apparently 'contributes to the series' by helping out with outlines or something.

It'll be interesting to see what they do, but I'm not so sure this will actually count towards canon in the end. The show is doing more arc style storytelling recently, and we'll see if Ward stepping off from writing will hurt the show or not.

Abadeer is a demon, so Marceline is at least half demon. How and when she became a vampire on top of that has not been explained, but it's pretty clear she wasn't human when she was running around with Simon as a child. She had fangs, blue gray skin, and no marks on her neck. She might have been a vampire then and the two puncture wounds in her neck might just be something like stickers, or a tattoo, or something she does because she likes the look.

It could just be that she ages, but reeeaaallly slowly, or it could be that those born vampires will age to a certain point and then stop, or it could just be that she was turned around the time she became a teen.

I'll give this a shot. Maybe they'll manage to make it make sense and mesh well with what we've seen of her past before, and maybe they won't. Pretty sure Ward is busy with other things and won't be extremely involved with this. He probably has veto power and might consult a little, but the film is probably his focus and priority while the B team takes care of this.

Animeflavor.me has a number of Adventure time Episode we all apparently missed.

Bonnie & Neddy

1. King of Ooo is an Ass.....Bonnie I take back my previous disappointment with you when you had him arrested. It wasn't legal...but in hindsight it WAS the right thing to do.
2 So we finally learn the source of the Candy Kingdom's life and see the creation of Bonnie....honestly it explains a lot....her desire to create life and protect it and even her friendship with Marceline. Bonnie comes from a big close family and, end of the day, she misses that feeling.

Varmints

1. Ever single time the King of Ooo appears on screen he just adds another reason to dethrone him.
2. Good to see the girls getting along...
3. .....I want that shotgun....with more ammo of course
4. Huh....that fits. The weight of running a growing Kingdom crushes Bonnie beneath forming her into the PB we knew.
5. Huh....that was a really good episode all things considered.

Cherry Cream Soda
....A new beginning for an old couple....though....yeah this is odd.
