Harry Potter Aid to first years

I just thought of this idea...

What if one of the first things that First Years at Hogwart's learned is how to summon a house elf in case they are completely lost.

I was thinking for this to be similar to getting the Knight Bus's attention. Nothing overly complicated.

I think that's what was intended--just a little extra element for some other fic.

And it seems simple enough. I can definitely see Hermione going nuts the instant she finds out, though.

I was stretching the fact that this is an ideas section. I realize that Hawk meant Story Ideas, not just a generalized idea.
