Ranma ½ Akane's reaction to Ryoga's curse

As a user, I would rather prefer this discussion STAY in the same thread instead of creating a new one. As far as necros go, by our rules, it isn't one since he IS on-topic.

And returning to the point,

I'm not sure if Ranma could come up with such an elaborate scheme of an electronic tracker to reveal Ryoga's ... secret.

Now, as far fetched as this is - What if Soun really was THAT oblivious? And (to Ryoga's horror?) never knew about P-chan? I don't remember him ever addressing Ryoga as such in the manga...

Then Sound deserves a beating anyway for being that stupid, considering while he was sitting in the bath Ryoga the pig sauntered in, jumped in the water, and then naked human Ryoga walked right out... al while being only a few feet away.

I wouldn't be surprised. You DO remember who he put up with as a 'master' for so many years, right? Took him (and Genma) a bit too long to jump ship, if you ask me.

For that matter, the pig jumping into the bath and coming out as a human - I'm sure it's an anime-only thing. It was NEVER done in the manga like that (which makes me think that Soun never knew about Ryoga's true form - he might has suspected that the lad was cursed, however).

It happens in the manga. Other than things being out of order not too much was changed in Ranma's first anime season.

Scrolling around that arc, I just got a silly idea - instead of bumping into Ranma, what if Kodachi caught Ryoga training Akane? She falls in love with him, is aware of the curse and expects him to love her back.

Ryoga still gets chained to Ranma by some other means so Kodachi tries to fight Ranma while trying not to hurt Ryoga. :snigger:

Past the short term it's not that funny considering how out of the picture he is.
