Harry Potter All that time

Okay, here's an idea that has just hung with me all weekend, becaus ewith a few exceptions, like Tangerine-Alert's UNIT story, there are very few Doctor Who crosses with Harry Potter, so here's one:

This starts out in the Zoo that Harry goes to when he's younger, and has accidentally let the snake out of it's area. After being yelled at by the Dursley's, Harry runs off to hide, only to run into a crochety old man, who's visiting there with his granddaughter.

After getting the story of who he his, the old man takes Harry back to his relatives, but as they leave, his eyes narrow, when he sees how they treat him. Later that year, on Harry's birthday, the same old man shows up at number 4 Privet Drive, with a gift for Harry, and promises that he'll try to bring him something every year that he can.

From then on, every year after that, an eccentric gentleman with some companions shows up at Privett drive, and starts to teach Harry there there are more things in Heaven and the magical world than he's aware of, these gentleman that all share the title of...Doctor.

I'm putting this up for adoption at this time, but if things go right, and I can get my computer to work again, then I'll finish up the next part of FutuRanma, and go to work on it myself.

What d'ya think folks?

I only have one request.

Make it the Third Doctor (Jon Pertwee), please? :hail: :hail:

He was my favourite.

Have some spare hours so I'm catching up (haven't been here since early november; missed so much :blue: )

Anyways, mixing Dr.Who in with HP is a fun idea. I haven't seen any of the newer stuff, but I always loved Dr. Who, and while I'm a fan of Pertwee, Tom Baker shall always be Best in my book (him, Pertwee and the last guy, Sylvester McCoy I think were the three absolute best). The other Baker with his multi-color suit was horrible though. *coughs* Anyways...I had an odd idea reading this that someone might want to use: What if somewhere in his family line (recently or in the distant past or future) Harry had a Time Lord in his family. He didn't actually survive the killing curse, he simply regenerated after dying and for whatever reason his next incarnation was identical, or near enough, to how he'd looked before. No idea where you might go with this, but the idea seems interesting to me.
