Yes. I've lodged a complaint against that word "Vanguard". It's been used by certain racists groups.

So has the word "the". A word only has the connotations that people put on it.
(Same thing goes for symbols - do you know how old the swastika is?)

... in this forum, most people (read: pretty much everybody else) don't consider "Coalition" or "Vanguard" (or even, dare I say, "Clan") to be even remotely racist. You don't need to force that belief on us, either (that's a flamewar that would make Lord Raine pale). In this context, use of "coalition" or "vanquard" is not assumed to be racist.

I really need to write an essay about this stuff for my sig. DON'T get me started - the Chief IS NOT RACIST!!!

I agree - F^3 sounds cool, is easy to pronounce ("eff three"), and is neutral (read: perverted) enough that (hopefully) everybody can easily embrace! :mmm:

There are a few white power groups, here and in britain. They refer and call themselves "Vanguard" of someone or some such.

It's a word I don't like to see anymore.

While I'm thinking about it, who's going to ask DLP or Succubus if they want to be full members of the new FFF or TFF (whichever we perfer) group?


I can have one of my villagers (and Locke also will be headed towards Succubus) pass the message onto Succubus.

I think we have to go with FanFiction Federation, F^3. I mean it meets every requirement
It clearly states were connected to FanFiction.
It looks cool.
It rhymes.
It hasn't been taken.
And most importantly of all, it's perverted. :snigger:


On-topic, the only other thing I can think of is Alt is trying to make one I thank. It was mentioned in passing a few posts ago.

I believe that's being discussed in another thread.
It's still undecided, and I think we have to make a new poll.

Also we haven't confirmed that F^3 will be the new name of the alliance, I'm just saying it really loudly so people think it is. -_-

Howdy all, the leader of D20 has asked my village for an alliance. I am the leader of Pestilence village. I was wondering if the FFF was looking to pick up some smaller villages or is it just the leader of D20 wanting to strengthen their village? Thx for any replies :)

oops actually he wants to merge with my village which I guess is technically the same thing

About forming an alliance with D20 - alliances are good!! Go for it!

About merging with D20 - ... hm. Doesn't that mean that one village is going to get all the members, while the other crumbles into oblivion? :mellow: :unsure:

Yeah, I'm the leader of D20. Merging would mean your villagers all move to D20. While you would no longer be an independent village, there are a lot of benefits to merging.

I started proposing mergers because the new genin drop system means that most villages will get new members, but they tend to be unreliable, and it makes it difficult to grow far beyond size 30.

Anyways, back to the subject at hand.


Here are the benefits D20 has right now:

-More Stamina
-Promotion to Jounin without having to leave the village
-Buy permanent items at the Shop
-20% discount at the store
-Brew potions
-+1 strength to all ranks
-Monster items


If you merge with us, there will be a lot more benefits

-Greater Defense against being Bingoed
-Sannin Rank
-10% lower chakra costs
-Even more stamina
-Summons
-Better Monster Drops

Some of them may take some time to acquire, but the main barrier is the lack of numbers to unlock them.

I like to think that I'm a fair leader, and you would definitely be given a Council Position (Basically Kage in all but name), and I would do my best to make your villagers feel welcome.

Even if you're not interested, I'm amiable to discussing an alliance, though it would be with D20 alone, and not the Alliance as a whole.

So, what do you think?

While I have no direct affiliation with D20, I will volunteer to pay the 50,000 (in the form of 7 Ninja Puppets) to Cthulu, to make up the loss of Ryo.

For teh glory of TFF!

Cool thx for the quick reply Zerohour, I appreciate it. I was talking it over with the ninja of my village and haven't really recieved that much feedback yet. I will let u know what the consencise is but it is looking like a merger could be possible. The thing that really killed Pestilence before was the 7 day no play thing the old kage of Pestilence didn't kick anyone and we had half the village not playing so the rule killed us hehe. I will let u know of our decision by Sunday at the latest. Thx
