Evangelion Alternate Guardian(s) for Asuka

We've already had similar topics with Rei and Shinji so why not 1 for Asuka. The name of story or stories escapes me but I've seen what I belive to be good ideas of Asuka being raised by Ranma Satome as either her guardian, or father this is an example of who could make a good guardian for Asuka

I guess I base mine on the opposite of the other version. Afterall healing Asuka is a challenge in of itself.

Some dudes in an IRC channel I frequent are running an SRW-based RPG that has an Asuka who was raised by Ryoma Nagare.

Ehhh... I cannot speak for Lord Raa, but I have links to threads on forums from years ago... heck, I've got a couple direct links to threads on the old Delphi anime and fanfics forum. But then... very few have 5180+ favorites links.

Letting go... is not generally needed.

Well, yeah, Kamina wouldn't have time to raise a child. What about Simon, though?

On another note, would an Asuka who'd survived Third Impact, and was sent back in time, be a better or worse person to raise Asuka?

Much more disturbing variant of the above: an Asuka raised by Asukhon, possibly with the help of her husband and lovers.
