Here's a challenge for whoever feels like taking it up:
Write a Love Hina fic pairing up Keitaro with one of the lovely lolis of the series: Sarah, Nyamo, or Mei. The rules are as follows:
No alternate universes! This means no altering basic things about the setting or the characters. Everyone is the same age as they are in the manga, no settings where Keitaro is expected to marry multiple girls, etc.
It can be a lemon, but not one with no (or a flimsy) plot. Don't just have it be Keitaro banging one of the girls and then thinking a one-line explanation for how they got together.
No basing the relationship on deception. While amusing misunderstandings are the province of Love Hina, Keitaro has to know who he's wooing. That means no having him get into a relationship with Shinobu, for example, and having Nyamo disguise herself as her to go out on dates with him, etc.
This should be set before the time-jump at the end of the manga. It's too easy to just say that Keitaro and Naru's marriage breaks up, and he goes out with one of the girls now that they're older. The point of this is that it's a relationship with them when they're still scandalously young.
Ema is not a viable choice for this challenge. While she is young when she first appears, Keitaro's less than a day away from being married, which means the only way she and Keitaro could get together (without massively extenuating circumstances) would be if Keitaro used the "divorce Naru and date another Hina girl" routine above.
No using mind-altering spells, drugs, machines, etc. While it may be fun to say that Su is using Virtual-kun v.3 on Sarah to put her into a fantasy where she's kissing Keitaro, and she ends up liking it, that's something of a cop-out, and bypasses the awkward fun of Keitaro and the girl getting together on their own.
