Non Non Byori S3 has been officially announced.
No details, just that it is "in production".
I'm guessing that means it will probably be next year, winter this year at the earliest. I'm guessing spring or summer next year is most likely.

With Anthony and Joe Russo producing, no less.

Oregairu returns for S3 in 2020.

Studio Feel, who made S2, is producing it.

No way. That's way too arthouse and niche for that.

I'm not saying they want to lose money on it, but I doubt that making money is the point in this case. The return on it won't be that great and they'd be very aware of that.

This is a passion project. Precisely because it's so out there, dark, and weird.

Sometimes studios will do things like that just for the sake of it if they are comfortable enough financially to manage the risk. I'm pretty sure that's what is going on here just because of the nature of the source.

Uzimaki is also a horror classic, and hororr anime is a pretty rare thing. With artsy horror all the rage in hollywood right now it's a great time to put it out.

So, Cells at Work: Code Black gets an anime. I might actually take a look, just to see how much they "cleaned" it up.

My brother loved that series... I watched a couple episodes, seemed ok.

If anyone is feeling nostalgic, Netflix has Yu Yu Hakusho available, with all of the seasons right from the gate. Watching it myself in original japanese.

Also, Shokugeki no Souma is also there, though only 1 season so far.

I might check out YYH. Bought many of the dvds back in the day, I liked it so much.

I'll be honest - I could never get in to SnS. It's neat watching them present the dishes they make, but that's about it.

Further proof that Zero Requiem was an utter failure and Lelouch only went through with it because he was suicidal.

I loved the second season ending.
It would have been better if Black Knights hadn't gotten rewarded for what amounted to Treason to the UN.
