Probably not really worth starting a thread for, but In Disgaea 2 there is a sword called Sesshoumaru.

Its description? Wpn-Sword: Hurry up and find the **** jewel shards!

Probably not anywhere near as funny as I thought it was when I saw first that.

Shit, it'll take awhile to find the many anime references I've spotted in Makai Kingdom.

One that I can think of off the top of my head is a book weapon called "Note of Death". :lol:

What I find scary is the seemingly unstoppable invasion of net.culture references into gaming.

One of the GBA Final Fantasy remakes has a Trogdor reference. Disgaea 2 has ninja pirates, and even "I put on my robe and wizard hat". And AYBABTU and O RLY crop up everywhere...
