Attempts at help

Does anyone have family/friends that try to help you or that you depend on to do something rather important and they fail rather spectacularly(sp?). And the only one paying the price is you?

But you can't really get mad at them because you know they really tried to help, and you've lapsed into this sort of tired acceptance.

Just wondering if anyone else gets this sort of difficulty.

From time to time. Granted, they don't screw up so much to a point south of FUBAR - if I'm doing something has the chance of that happening, it's either me doing it, or I don't trust anybody to do it other than myself.

But there have been times, and it does suck. On one side, they are trying to help. In regards to all that, I'm starting to take a rather apathetic approach to it. Namely, I accept whatever I can take, but after that, I learn whatever it is they were intending and I work on it myself.
