I can't believe we don't have a thread about this yet.

For those unfamiliar with the various comics:
Avatar: The Last Airbender - The Lost Adventures
Summary: This contains some ministories of events that happened in between the various chapters. Not necessary to read to understand the following comics.

Avatar: The Last Airbender - The Promise
Summary: The Promise is a trilogy of comics that continue the Avatar TLAB storyline. The events of The Promise Part 1 begin immediately after the last episode of the original series, "Sozin's Comet: The Final Battle", but after a few pages move forward one year. This captures the events that take place between the end of Avatar TLAB & TLoK. Aang and Katara have begin dating, and Zuko struggles with the challenges that face him in reforming the fire country as the new Fire Lord. This is a must read.

Avatar: The Last Airbender - The Search
Summary: The Search is a trilogy of comics set in the Avatar universe that directly follows the events of The Promise trilogy. The story entails the Gaangs (can't believe I just wrote that) search for Zuko's mother. As of today, only the first chapter of this has been released. Part two will be released on July 10, 2013.

I've really enjoyed reading them. I wish that Nick had allowed them to be made into short movies. But apparently... it's not in their business interest. Oh well.

Anyway, The Search was great. Really goes to show how imperfect Zuko's family is.

Had no idea I could find the comics in that site.

Also, Zuko being Ozai's son? Yes or no?
I'm gonna say no. Given the way the last chapter ended. Also, it would totally explain the tension between him and his father, and why he thought Azula would be a better heir to the thrown.

Either way, Ozai strikes me as an incredibly jealous person. The slightest thought of infidelity from his wife would probably set him off.

I don't know, I could see it going either way at this point really. Though in fairness I didn't think anything could make me dislike Ozai more, but this entire situation managed it. Makes a lot of sense though, I mean the fandom seemed to think that Ursa and Ozai honestly loved each other at one point, but by god does this make more sense.

Honestly, I would have prefered if Ozai and Ursa actually had an actual relationship. The whole 'you're my wife now and you're never going to meet your family' makes Ozai even more of a mustache twirling villain that he was before.

Also, currently hoping Zuko is Ozai's son and that was bad wording on Ursa's part.

Yeah Ursa's newly revealed backstory is really... not bad exactly, but it could have been better.

Eh I Liked it, mainly cause it showed that Ozai was just as bad young as Azula.
