Heh alright just caught Mayhem of the music meister.... amsuing little music episode (even if it will take a couple years to get those tunes out of my head.. they really drive me Bats :p )

and thought I'd see what everyone else thinks of the show.

Overall I like it.. good old fashion half hour cartoon... like i used to watch on saturday morning... and since each episode is indepedent I don' thave to worry about missing or not understanding a plot point if I just catch a random one.

Its not quite on par with B:TAS, but pretty good in my opinion.

And the dialogue is full of good campy cheese ("This concerto of crime ends now!" )

I do have one question tho, after seeing this on youtube. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TkkyualjFHA

What the HELL did they do to Catwomans face??? Okay granted her body is loads better than the Black catwoman in the last season of the Animate dbatman series (Although not nearly as good Catwoman in the first couple of seasons of B:TAS! rowr!)

but her face... my god... I mean I know its not the art style (Just look at Huntress and Black Canary in previous episodes) .. so why did they give her such ablocky chin?

Well I've never seen the show before, but the biggest WTF moment for me in that clip was hearing Oswald's voice come out of Batman's mouth.

I like the Retro throwback without the flamboyance. Plus they adapted that one Alan Moore DC story about the Green Lantern who is an actual planet, pretty awesome stuff.

Eh, it's not that blocky at the end where they show her face in profile. I think it's just the animation style. And keep in hind Selina has on a cowl whereas BD and Hunress have bare chins fo rtheir uniforms.

All in all I like that one though. Reminds me of old-school Batman before angst became his real superpower. Of course that's the point of Brave and the Bold to begin with.

Flirterers. lol. Best Ollie Ever.

True Ollie is fun in this...

"oh I don't know.. maybe because you've fought her 2 MILLION TIMES!"

What about other episode Dhampyr? did you catch the Music meister one for example.... (Can't...get...songs.. out..of..head...)

I was more creeped out with Black Canary hitting in Batman with her one song then the whole musical angle in general. Especially with Ollie right there.

Although a part of me thought the whole episode was overdone. I've never been a fan of the "special musical episode" gimmick for most shows. Xena did it well, but then again Lucy Lawless has a set of pipes on her and the whole cast could play over the top characters on a whole other level.

This seemed really forced, even with the tone of Brave and the Bold.
