Which is the best order to watch these dvds? I've seen different answers from browsing other websites/forums.

Well I'm actually watching them now, and I'm just going by the order on the DVDs so I don't have to skip around. Easier that way. ^_^

Heh I've heard it doesn't cause problems until the later dvds.

Also, for the most part Batman: TAS only has a few situations where you need to pay more attention to the order beyond the two parters and the seasons.

It was partially made to be flexible for reshowing and doesn't entirely matter because of that setup.

Keep the seasons in order and make sure the multi-part episodes are in order.

As a side note, you may want to snag a few of the Superman: TAS ones as well. There were a few times where they'd had an event where it was an episode or two of each that were in each series.

Supposedly Night of the Ninja, Day of the Samurai, Heart of Steel, and His Silicon Soul are episodes I've seen mentioned are the only ones that would cause problems, but from what I understand those aren't until the later dvd sets.

After I get the other box sets of batman I'll take a look at the superman series you mentioned.

So far the two parters are kept together and the dvd set is in production order.

Also any episode with the first appearance in Gotham/creation of a villain before their later episodes (Man-bat, Poison Ivy, Scarface, Scarecrow, Mad Hatter and Catwoman come to mind). But those are often divided into different seasons.

I just got to the episodes introducing Ra's al Ghul and I totally forgot the actor they got to do his voice is the same guy who voiced Irenicus in Baldur's Gate 2. Talk about fitting.

D-d-d-double post.

Anyone else see the Gotham Girls Flash episodes? It (obviously) features the femmes of the series, with similar animation to the last season of TAS. Also, it has the same voice actors doing Batgirl, Harley, Poison Ivy, and Catwoman.

Just thought I'd share in case others are interested. Click on Media to see the episodes.

Heh I got a kick out of those. On that note picked up the 2nd set of batman dvds. This has the problem episodes mentioned earlier.

The only problem I found with Season 1 is that in the Christmas Episode, Robin is there, while he is strangely absent in other episodes in that season.

They explained it away by Dick being at college and not always able to go out as Robin. He was just back for Christmas holidays I guess.

There were at least 2 Robins in the entire series, not counting the "Tales" episode (can't remember the actual name of the episode, but its the one with the kids theorizing about Batman with them as Robin in each of them). Part of the problem people have is that the repeats were rarely in order.

I'm pretty sure in the first three seasons Robin was college-age Dick. Tim was only Robin in the last, and he was the ten(ish) year old.

I went back and watched it and it was an older Robin. My bad. My mind can't equate the older Robin, I always jump straight to Nightwing, even if it didn't happen until way later in the show.

On that note Batman Beyond is supposedly getting a new mini series. Though I don't know if it's animated or in comic book form.
