Benevolent Crystal Tokyo

Though, I wonder how much of Alucard's power was from the Hellsing's meddling, or simply just the sheer number of souls he's chomped on over the centuries.

The Senshi are literal super-humans. I'm not saying they're required to turn everyone else into super-humans either, but keeping it a secret known only to them disqualifies them from being trustworthy leaders.
IÆll admit, this has bugged me for awhile, I just never got around to expressing the reason why until now. LetÆs be totally honest for a moment, how many secrets are being kept from you by your government for your protection or that of agents who are working to defend all those rights you hold dear?

Now I do believe that the government shouldnÆt lie or try to hide the truth from its citizens in most situations. That said some things will have to remain hidden from the people. This is fine as long as the citizenÆs voices are represented by some form of oversight. For example, I do not need to know the names, locations, missions or anything else to do with undercover agents, as long as those agents actions are monitored/directed by a person, council or administration that answers to the people.

I view the SenshiÆs secret identity in a similar manner. If I were to learn who they are I have now put myself and them at risk. These girls are defending the world from things I and the rest of the world havenÆt a hope in Hades of stopping, why would I hold their desire to protect their families from reprisal against them? Now, the reason I donÆt mind them not reporting to a government is because I donÆt trust any current government (or in fact any that have existed on earth to date) with access to that kind of power.

That said, once Queen Serenity has been elected Leader of Earth, President of Earth, Prime Minister of Earth, Queen of Earth, etc. then I view her powers and that of her Senshi being put at the disposal and used for the protection of humanity.

In short, I donÆt think their actions have disqualified them as trustworthy leaders.

I do wonder how CT would react knowing the SM god is actually a tiny fairy living in a giant cauldron that all life is created in or that NQS is in fact a part of her.

Well, cute as the sm god is, I'd rather not think about the religious debate/conflict/war that could spark if the more reactionary elements of humanity manage to whip the more herd like elements of humanity (mobs) into a frenzy over this little revelation.

Things like violence and war are horrible tragedies, but sometimes they are also the only way to significantly improve, both as a race and as human beings. Without the whole Holocaust mess in WWII, the world would most likely be a lot worse as far as racism is concerned. WWII became a cautionary tale on why assuming superiority of a race over another is bad. Sure, there's still racist people around, but there's also much stronger opposition to such behavior.
Dude, Usagi knows that. Ignore the anime and focus purely on the manga. She said fighting was neccessary for a better future. The end of a war would lead to hope for the future. That it was all part of a balance. Hell Chaos exists because she exists and she exists because Chaos exists.

Crystal Tokyo Elite Forces

The 51st Millennium Legion (aka VenusÆs Sword) under the direct command of Sailor Venus. The smallest unit is comprised of four man fire teams wearing advanced combat armor. The armor is designed to provide maximum protection while allowing itÆs wearer full freedom of movement. The Armalite Pulse Rifle with under slung grenade launcher is the standard issue rifle for this unit.

Squads that have distinguished themselves

The Warriors û Known for being effective, if dirty, melee fighters. Took the data vault in a malcontent stronghold with no damage to the surrounding memory banks. Their unit color is deep red, and black

The Koopa Troopas û Unit distinguished itself in a raid on an Asteroid Miner compromised by malcontents. The ship had been set to drop large rocks on Earth when it was intercepted by an assault ship carrying the KTÆs. Once it was determined by the on board Empath that the mining crew was unusually nervous, the KTÆs boarded the ship under heavy resistance. One member of the KTÆs was injured, while all the Malcontents were captured or killed. Their unit colors are green and gold

The Hammer Brothers û Named for their use of Pancor Jackhammers. They distinguished themselves during some very nasty building to building fighting, when a group of religious extremists attempted to capture and occupy the former capital of the United States of America. Their unit color is Black and white.

Edit: The point of this is too show that it's regular people fighting to protect a system they believe in. I May add more later.

WARRRIOOORRSSS! COME OUT AND PLLLLAAAAAAYYYYY!

And let us remember that the Koopa Troopas fear a two man team of Italian brothers, the legendary Mario Brothers, malcontents who have struck blows after blows against the New Order. Each time they are encountered, The Koopa Troopas take heavy casualties.

I'd pay real money to see Neo-Queen Serenity dressed up like that before a crowd of citizens while saying "Can you dig it!"

Galaxia and Beryl. Beyrl revived the dead endymion as her slave. Galaxia revived the dead senshi & Kamen as her slaves to Fight Usagi.

Ah. That might be difficult. I had an idea where some random anarchist mage was reanimating dead soldiers and such and going George Romero on Crystal Tokyo.

That's pretty heavy magic in SM. Pallapalla's (Sailor Pallas) controlling ball maybe be able to do it to though.

The idea also had a vague subplot where one of these re-animated soldiers somehow broke the mages control over him, and found himself a man out of time and out of place. Take that as you will.

It's pretty hard in SM because once you're not controlled. The one using the spell usually removes what revived you in the first place.

You know, if we use the more fantastical occult Nazi practices, we might be able to make DavidÆs idea work, or at least something similar to it.

All right, like Castle Wolfenstein, we are going to pin the blame for NaziÆs occult practices on the Thule Society. Yes I know, Hitler broke with them during his rise to power. However since weÆre dealing with school girls in short skirts flinging around enough power to lay waste to cities I think we can roll with this concept.

Anyways, itÆs the closing days of World War II and the Thule society manages a significant success in their quest for dark power. They summon and contain a powerful being of magic. They dub the creature, and the device they use to contain and direct itÆs power, æThe Black SunÆ, and attempt to use itÆs power to displace the allied forces into a nightmare world. The plan backfires and the Thule society ends up being destroyed by instead.

The Kreisau Circle getÆs to the device, and buries it far underground (as they do not possess the knowledge to safely destroy it). There it remains until the rise of Serenity. A historian and anarchist mage finds the device, along with the now insane being it contains. After decades of careful study he uses it to build an army. One forged from soldiers that died on histories bloodiest battlefields. Each soldier getÆs a spark of energy from the creature to repair and reanimate their corpse, while a purge spell clears them of their useless free will. Thus armed he sends his undying legions against the forces of Crystal Tokyo.

Yeah IÆll stop here.

Usagi and Chibi-Usa's powers are meant for destroying creatures like that. Since what they summoned sounds like it could easily be a Chaos incarnation. Neo-Queen Serenity or Princess Lady Serenity could easily beat it.

And Usagi has been shown to able to use her healing abilities as a mass area effect in the very first arc when she covered all of Tokyo. Her ability should easily be able to strech all over the world by the level of Neo-Queen.

I always a little depressed that the manga never showed how CT reacted when their Princess Usagi Small Lady Serenity matured into Princess Lady Serenity with her Prince Helios especially the kids that bullied her so.

A small group of children find themselves looking up at very upset Princess Lady Serenity, along with her beau at her side.

ôUmmmà.ö One boy began ôWeàahà.we were just trying to toughen you up!Æ

ôYeah!ö another youth chimed in ôWe knew who you were the whole time.ö The child laughed nervously.

ôSo really you should be thanking usà..but we have no need for your kind words. The fact that weÆve served our glorious government and itÆs beloved Queen and heir is reward enough for us all!ö

Yeah not my best, but it's what occured to me.

it was still good. The changing of the guard would have been nice scene too.

(Couldn't find a better pic with just Chibi-Usa and her Sailor Quartet, Saturn isn't a part of her group.)

A few hours ago I was thinking about Crystal Tokyo when something slapped me in the head. While I could easily see Usagi managing to get elected to her position by world's population as it's within her canon-level of charisma, I suddenly realized the major plot-hole of Crystal Tokyo that needed to be fulled was how people convinced Usagi to become the Neo-Queen.

It isn't after all the type of job that Usagi would take any real enjoyment of after all not to mention during the Dark Kingdom arc we see that Usagi basically wants to enjoy a semi-normal life with her friends and family NOT rule over some kindom.

I always thought that since Usagi blessed the whole world with a extended life span and Silver Millenium Tech. She had to take over so people couldn't abuse it. Not to mention she was the only one on the planet on friendly terms with the royalty of other planets. If anyone else was in charge I doubt inter-planetary relations would go so smoothly. <_<

A part of me wonders how large CT actually is. They mention the Moon, Elysium and Earth but after Usagi revived the Galaxy I would think Lethe, Mnemosyne (Due to their poor state) and Galaxia's planet would have joined the new Silver Millenium. Kinmoku, Cocoon, Mermaid, Chuu, Coronis and Mau I understand not joining since they seem to have to stable worlds. Chi and Phi seem like a toss up.
