Well, the story takes place after the fall of Chronos and Arkanfel. Earth is divided into 3 blocks:
1)-Chronos Remnant lead by surviving Zoalord, Imakarum Mirabilis.
2)-Olympus Dominion under Zeus Thunderbolt aka Agito Makishima, Guyver 3.
3)-Earth federation protected by Sho Fukamashi, Guyver 1.
Chronos knowledge about biotechnology have been spread around, and the Guyver has access to tidbit of the Creator's knowledge, (nothing too extensive).
Before the First contact with the Centaury, The faction being at war with each other has boosted dramaticaly the technological development. Chronos has been Terraforming/colonizing Venus. Mars was colonized by both the Dominion and the Federation.
First Contact with the Centaury was an electroshock that reminds to each faction that mankind is not alone in the Universe.
The prospect of the Creator being still around was quite disturbing to Earth leadership, considering that their parting gift was an HUGE Meteor on a collision course with Earth.
Earth Alliance was formed out of the concern of the Creator might come back to clean the mess they left behind or their enemy paying a visit to deny them the use of the biological weapons created on Earth. Said weapons being Mankind itself.
Post First Contact, Mankind (both Zoano?d and baseline human) are not a very friendly specie to hang around. Exploration, investigation and genetic research have revealed that the species surrounding them have been tempered by an unknown party. Some of them recently.
They suspect the Creator involvement and have been building up to face them.
Quidproquo with the Vorlon and the Shadow. Afterall if it walks like a duck, Quacks like a duck and swins like a duck, it must be a duck.
