Bleach RPG Character Thread

Him and me have planned out a sort of teamup thing that would happen due to random circumstance during/after an attack on my character. Should I PM you the details in order to set that up?
It has to do with the body he ends up in. Adds for a rather interesting twist.

Look up a few posts. Zerohour closed off character submissions. Someone dropped out so a space was freed up. That space got taken. That would mean, I think, that there are not any spaces.
Then again, at least one person with a shinigami character hasn't posted yet, I think, so it's possible a space opened up. Still, no seems more likely to me at this point.

Personally I'd like to see some of the other races delved into. I mean we have 8 shinigami (Well, one's actually an alchemist), one Evolved Human, and One Mod Soul, and us two are probably going to be against the other 8, depending on the exact circumstances I have for my character's motivation. Where's the Quincy love? And oddly enough, where's the Human-Shinigami at?
Not to say that you have to of course, just saying the spots are currently there and wide open at the moment...

for my defense i thought there would be a lot more evolved humans considering the moer or less infinite possibilities for those, plus the idea i had for my shinigami matched perfectly with something else i've had in mind for a while now so i thought "why not".

Yes, clearly creating a shinigami character means you are not at all original.
Zanpakuto allow for as many possibilities as evolved humans and more importantly, it's not abilities that really determine a character's originality.
Also, most of the group being shinigami allows for a very solid, immediate in game reason for the group to be together. That's handy.
As for why no one is playing a quincy, I'd bet it's because that is quite restrictive in terms of powers. You shoot arrows. Maybe you could come up with new trick items, but really, you shoot arrows. You could certainly create an interesting original quincy, but at the end of the day, the most engaging character in the world is going to feel hollow without cool, explodey powers.

Quincy also have a spell set that could possibly rival the shinigami's Kido, which is a step up from the Evolved Human. Case and point is the nifty tricks Ishida pulls when he has no powers.

Like Spears, as they don't get enough love. And though the thing is supposed to be an arrow, that Saw blade is pretty much the case and point that it's possible.

Logical, yes, but sadly un-canon. As Ishida said when he unveiled that his nifty chainsaw swords were actually arrows, "A Quincy's weapon is always a bow." Anyway, I was just theorizing about why there were no quincy. It's a lot easier to have a cool new power that makes sense to have as a shinigami than as a quincy.
Also, is this game moving anywhere? If no one else has introduction while the group is in soul society, I think we're just waiting to be DM-ported to our real world location.

Also when he first revealed it, he said that it was the only Quincy weapon in the form of a blade. Which could open a few possibilities to non blade/bow Quincy weapons. :huh.:
Zero said he was going to PM Fenix and GH to see if they were going to play or not. After that, and if someone takes that spot as a shinigami and does an intro (As it's pretty clear my character and the Trout's can't be in soul society at the moment so we have to wait till the game shifts to the human world) things should move along.

Where can I get more information on whats going on here?

I am taking suggestions for the 'release phrase'. I am having a hard time coming up with something. I also don't have a good grasp on what the avatar should look like.

- Was in one of the various 'ninja' squads of SS.
- Challenged the current leader of said squad, I was thinking Soi Fong (I don't recall the timeline very well), and was utterly defeated.
- Was transferred over to the 11th division, in order to train and get stronger. (If I am allowed to be a seated officer, I want to be in between 10-20.)
- Working on the 'creation' of the Shunko/'Flash Cry' technique. (Similiar to how Soi Fong thought that she had 'created' it.)
- Has romantic feelings toward Soi Fong.
- Zanjutsu is his worst area because he always fights in Shikai, if allowed, and his Shikai allows him to make use of his best area: Hakuda.
I am going to wait until ZH approves this more complete character, before I post in the game thread.
EDIT: Reading the OP in what I think is the game thread, the one called Bleach: Ascension of a New Generation, I could be placed in with the new graduates because of my actions.
And I noticed that Hawk, not Soi Fong, is the Captain of the 2nd Division. . . That kills most of my character concept. Unless she is still the leader of the 'ninja' people. . .

Here's how it goes from what I understand. All the shinigami peoples have just graduated from the academy and will be in the human world for a year to test their new abilties before being assigned to a specific divison. Basically Zero here is our 'dungeon master' and he controls what enemies we fight, and how to move the plot forward (Much like the role Zeni usually plays in the other threads here from what I understand). We kind of react to that I guess. If we want anything specific to happen, like the Trouts and my plot idea, we must ask Zero here first to help us set it up.
Me and the Trouts at this point are in the human world (the trouts don't even have a body yet) since we aren't shinigami. You guys are in soul society, and upon the last Shingami character making an intro (Depending on wheter or not Zero allows the other guy to enter since GH apparently isn't, that would be you and him), I assume we move on to the human world. Eventually I'll get to introduce mine (Though for certain reason he'll be avoiding contact with anything spiritual), and eventually the plot will cause the Trouts to get a body.
Then things start moving in the direction Zero takes. If you need any more the link I posted earlier after you asked the question before goes a little into the history and whatnot. Anything further appears to be a secret Zero is waiting to spring on us. :sisi:

Fenixzero, I had an idea so that maybe you could keep your story and still be no stronger than an academy graduate. What if that fight with Soi Fong went really, really bad and she practically crippled you? You could have been spending the last several years recuperating and are now being sent off with the rest of us to the real world for a year to make sure your fully recuperated.
Just an idea I had. Maybe it would work.
