I've been working on this for the past couple of months, and it still isn't ready to go live just yet.

[** THE LAST WAR **]

it is the twilight of mankind.

Aliens possessing unimaginable powers now run rampant, bleeding humanity bit by bit towards extinction. To fight them, we have created artificial gods out of machines, cloned organs, and the sacrifice of innocents.

But never has it been mankind's way to just sit down and die in the face of Armageddon.

Command awesome war machines, the TechTitans, or aliens with dark designs, the VoidTitans, in this simple but endlessly entertaining turn-based tactical war game. Compete in the strategic layer as you control the welfare of your pilots and research new weapons and defensive technologies.

As the invading alien mind, improve continually to meet challenges, bit by bit evolving into your birthright as a newborn star god.

light up the dark with the
burning of your own soul.

Now, the influence is pretty damn obvious. Pacific Rim, Adeptus Evangelion, etc. I was originally going to buy Godzilla Kaiju World Wars(http://www.geekalerts.com/godzilla-kaiju-world-wars-board-game) to try and sate my hunger for epic block-busting combat, but then I actually looked at the things inside.

Wait, just four 2" figures? One type of stackable building material?

Oh come on. I can do better than that.

And then... huh. I want to play an AdEva style game so bad, but there isn't a board game out there that suffices. So if there isn't one, why not go ahead and make it myself?

So here's the game concept - epic scale combat on a destructible cityscape.

Triangular building pieces create a much more interesting cityscape.

Buildings exist for more than just being knocked down. They can hide turrets, recharge and resupply points, and civilian pieces that need to be rescued.

Use 3D-printed models instead of sculpted miniatures to improve speed of prototyping.

The grid is formed of 1.5" wide tiles. Titan-scale figures are at least 3" tall.

This is a concept of the basic 8x8 mat, which at 1.5" each tile means it's a 12" game field.

Too small, you might say?

Here's how it may look if you have 2/4/6/8 of them.

A Starter Box would come with 4 mats. The Complete/Extended Play Box would come with 8x8 and/or massive 10x16 game mats.

Of course, this may need hundreds of stackable building pieces, but hey. Cheap gray plastic pieces can be provided in bulk. From skirmishes to story-linked campaigns, the gameplay can be as expansive as you wish without having to kitbash things.

I probably should have started it much earlier, enough time to release by December, but hey. I was only looking for such a game as a present for my little brother. There was only enough time to make the initial run of figures and pay for people to make certain art assets.

Now I need names for 3D and graphic artists that can work (umm) cheaply.

Anything more requires outside funding. I'm prepared to spend a bit of my life savings for this, but that could shortly prove disastrous.

What more do I need to make a kickstarter proposal that can be trusted?

Do I need to have a full prototype ready?

How much does it cost to make a short 15-min video?

Thanks in advance for any pointers and help you might share, TFF. :)
