BTVS Fic Search Thread

well Twisting the Hellmouth has apparently lost or had a couple of fics I wanna reread removed, so a lil help would be appreciated.

first up is a YAHF that I think the auther took down, in which case I'm boned, or well tth ate it or well I'm imagineing things. reguardless Xan unknowingly dresses as Jack Hawksmoon from Authority. Xander the King of Citys. the fact that it's an Authority/BtVS cross should be enough for someone to know if I'm imagineing things or not.

next up is a Heros/BtVS cross. title or at least the premiss is the "many Gruesome Deaths of Sylar" first up is Sylar going after a post-Chosen Dawn not knowing what her power is but desireing it. after a brief fight where Sylar get's the upper hand and slams Dawn against a wall there's a flash of green and all of a sudden his heart is in her hands and before all goes dark the last words he hears is something akin to "I am the Key, ALL things open before me!". the next one in the series if it helps is Sylar hunting one of the Witch Hunter Robin crew.

anyway any help would be appreciated.

I know the first fic you're talking about, and I think it was taken down. Don't know about the second. Just so this isn't a pointless post, here's another BTVS/Authority crossover, where Xander goes as Midnighter.

yeah figured... methos I belive it was who wrote it, took down his Authority cross. and it was stumbleing across BigHead's... well Authority and Planetary get crossed there is what sprarked renewed interest in the fic.

as to the second, nut bunnys!!!

tth has a habit of... loseing interesting fics. like the SG-1 cross the marrige between Samantha Carter and Xander Harris told from the POV of Dawn Summers and Mini-Jack or the other SG-1 cross(that only the first chpt was done to my knowledge) where thanks to her language skills and the languages Xan's picked up dureing her tour of Africa retrieveing Slayers, he and Dawn are nominated to inflitrate the SGC as linguists to see how big a worry to the NWC it is. as part of their cover and to protect Dawn's virtue from all the "Single Army Guys"(Buffy's words) they decided that Xander and Dawn would be husband and wife and of course this get's sprung on them pretty much just as they roll into the Cheyanne Mountain parking area.

*sigh* sooo annoying. thanks for the help though.

Well, crap. Both of those SG1 crosses sound like really good reads. You wouldn't happen to remember the authors of those stories you mentioned, would you? Cause, sometimes they keep copies of stories they've written on their own sites.

as to the one-shot(which is the one where Carter and Xan marry) I have no friggen clue, which annoys me to no ends. I know I found that one at tth. as for the second, there's the off chance that it exsists somewhere on the pit of voles(ffn) and somewhere in one of my email accounts I have a reply from the auther of Xan and Dawn going in undercover to the SGC. I belive I very breifly coresponded with her ages ago. sad thing is I don't wanna dig thru several accounts looking for it. doubly so as I could be imagineing things or it's corespondence to another auther over a completely unrelated fic.

The Sam and Xander marry fic is called Should've Tried Harder by Teri. It's on FF.net. It should be the 48th fic on her page.

Ah, time to revive this one. I was reading some Buffy fics lately, which brought this to mind. This is more a general fic search, so it's not for a specific fic.

This is in two parts. The first: I like the stories that involve Xander using guns, so any fics of that type that anyone knows is good. The second: I'm also fond of time travel stories, but only ones that involve characters from the later seasons (or post series) going to back to the past seasons. Not the other way around. These can involve any character. I'll even allow Angel the Series stories in this one. Any help is good, thanks.

there is one that I've been looking for that was a Xander/Darla fic post her Resurrection and had the plotline of one of the Toth parts of Xander splitting town rather than dealing with the mess when people started thinking he was a demon.

Yeah, that's it. There are two other Xander/Darla ones I can remember, one I read recently that's on the XZ archives that about halfway through seemed to become Xander pulling an Akira with very inconsistent writing. The other I remember had Darla flee LA rather than be turned and ended up back in Sunnydale working in either a library or a book store.

I think I remember the first, but not the second. Do you have a link for it (or if not, a name or author)?

Hmm, I put this at the General Reccomendation Fic Thread, but I think I'll post it here too.

I don't know if any of you read it, but xxmagex have updated his BtVS Xandercentric fic The Road Back to cahpter 50 at his LiveJournal. Warning to you all, the update is MASSIVE, I tell you. I mean, almost 400kb of files. Try to read it guys.

im looking for a fic where Xander and willow go to Anita Blakes universe and Xander hangs with Jason and Nathanial, while willow hangs with Richard. Jeanclaude want's willows power. Xander got the control while willow got the power of the hellmouth at the begining.

I wanna say that's "Friendship's End". but I'm not a hundred percent on that. reguardless I know it is up at twisting the hellmouth. check under the willow pairings section.

Hope this isn't necroing, but I've been looking for an older fic that I found nearly a decade ago through what was Tannim's Crossing Bridges Fanfiction (was that the right title?) archive for Ranma xovers (he had a miscellaneous links page on the front page that had some good non-ranma non-anime links on it.) The fic was BtVS of course, no xovers but one OC. The OC was a girl demon related to Succubi that when bonded to other demon(s) made them much stronger. Buffy and Willow bound themselves to her and made themsevles a 'Master Slayer' and 'Master Witch.' It was basically a series of three oneshots. I think the author was CaveBear... or something to do with bears. Help'd be appreciated.

I'm looking for a BTVS fic I read awhile ago, it's Xander-centric and has his mind going into the past from way in the future after he's already had a kid.

I think it was Xander/Faith, but it also hinted at Xander/Buffy (at least at the point I was at) I think he could do something with making weapons too.

I thought I read it on FFN, but I didn't see it, so I'm not sure.

I'm not even sure how good the story is, I just remember reading it a while back when I had Internet access then I didn't and I forgot about. Now I'm in the mood for Buffy fics again and I thought about it.

Ah. I know the one you're talking about, or think I do, but the name escapes me. Like twenty years or so into the future, Xander is basically commander of the Watchers organization which is bascially a global army, demons are recognized as real by the public, Faith is Xander's deceased wife who gave him a daughter, Buffy was his wife a few years after Faith died, and Xander went back in time after dying by a simple method - on Halloween in the past, he dressed as himself. I'm pretty sure that the fic was finished and was made by the guy who wrote the 'Xander becomes Goliath' YAHF. I think the fics are on Tthfanfic.org.

I recently re-watched Angel season five and was reminded of how much I love Illyria. So, any good fics featuring her out there? Besides Hotpoint's of course. I've already read them. Preferably longer than one-shots.

don't rember the title for the life of me but it is one of nodaskip's fics. so it should be up at his ffn page, baring that would assume it's up at his webpage which should be linked from the ffn page.
