Im going to go out on a limb and say these are for when your in a village. My question is if so: What do they do exactly and are they of any use if your not yet part of a village, also do they carry over if I were to join a viklage?

Village contracts have absolutely no use outside of a village and they carry over just like every other item in the game. Village contracts are used to add additional Ryo to a village's treasury, minor contracts give 1000 Ryo to the village and major contracts give 5000 Ryo.

Well, it's a drop that you shouldn't be able to get if you're not in a Village. If you do get one while Villageless, thats a bug and should be reported.

Anyway, it's just a tax free way to give 1000ryo for your village.

Ah thanks, just iv'e gotten about 4 in the last 3 days and noticed they wern't on my item list.

are you sure??My alt get 2 off them while villageless. and I already donate it to the lemon village right after i join them...
