Keya Morgan has been arrested for the alleged elder abuse of Stan Lee.

He is being charged with grand theft from an elder, elder abuse, unlawful imprisonment, and generating false 911 calls.

Lee was taken out of Morgan's custody before he passed.

This guy's life is hardcore ruined.

If he goes to prison, as soon as anyone finds out who it was he abused, he's going to have to be isolated for his own safety.

If he doesn't, he's going to have to spend the rest of his life looking over his shoulder. There are people who just aren't ever going to let abusing Stan Lee slide.

Per The Hollywood Reporter, the estates/heirs to Steve Ditko, Stan Lee, Don Heck and others filed claims for copyright termination to several characters, including Dr Strange, Spider-man, Iron Man, and others, against Marvel Comics.

Marvel has filed lawsuits to keep said copyrights.

This mess is going to last for years.

I'd be concerned about this, but I've given up on comics (Marvel, DC, and most of the others). I'll still pick up something from the independents if it gets my interest, but...sadly...could care less about Marvel...or any of Disney's properties these days.

Personally, I wouldn't mind seeing the families manage to take Disney down a peg or two, but I know there's a good chance it won't happen and it will more likely end with some sort of flat settlement.
