Sorry, I simply refused to see the movie therefore the name of Constantine was never tarnished in my eyes.

I'm still surprised they managed to change the characters back story, nationality, accent, hair color, trench coat, cigarretes, vocabulary, religion, place of residence, blood type, and whole philisophic view point and still call it the same character.

Edit: I just realized John must be a Timelord it all makes sense now.
