For those of you who don't know Midori Days (maybe barely spoilers for Manga Vol 3?):
Seiji Sawamura is a young delinquent who would like nothing more than to find love (or at least a girlfriend), but is perpetually hampered in his efforts by his bad reputation. Midori is a traumatically-shy girl nursing a massive crush on Seiji, but is unable to bring herself to speak to him, let alone confess her feelings. Midori falls into a mysterious coma, while her spirit/subconscious/something projects from her body and appends itself to Seiji, in the form of an outgoing, bubbly and flirtatious Midori-torso in place of his right hand.
The biggest complaint I've seen about Hinata on the board is that her personality type seems more appropriate for a romantic-comedy like Love Hina (or Midori Days) than as a supposedly bad-ass ninja in a shonen-manga. The parallels are there, and this would make for a far more relevant usage for Hinata. Any thoughts?
