I was just reading a fic where the author liked to throw in Japanese words and names instead of the English ones, and was referring to Root as Ne.

I was struck by the thought, does that mean that Danzo commands the Ninjas who Say "Ne!"?

Could be the basis for a crack fic, especially if new inductees are given D rank mission after D rank mission to bring back a shrubbery.
