Crossovers

You not like Sealab 2021 (first two and a half seasons only, Shanks ain't got nothing in Murphy!) and Harvey Birdman?

I shouldn't really complain about crossovers, given some of the ideas I've come up with :p

Family Guy has it's moments, and isn't Robot Chicken American-made too? Those two are essentially the only American animations I'll watch anymore (barring the old stuff like Looney Toons or Tom & Jerry, which I hardly ever see on anyway).

Bah, believe me I live in the US and we've got shit for T.V. here, I haven't actually turned on my TV to watch what was on TV (as opposed to watching a DVD) in a few years, ironically the only that I do watch lately on TV isn't a cartoon, it's House, because Lord Raa's fic idea got me back ino that show. I used to watch it but stopped but now it looks like its acquired my interest once again.

Ha ha! My influence strikes again!

Or something like that. :p

I'm not sure what I can say about UK telly. I mean, on the one hand we have the BBC, which has unleashed Red Dwarf, Hyperdrive, Top Gear, the BBC Natural History Unit (led by David Attenborough), The Young Ones, Bottom, Fawlty Towers Doctor Who and Monty Python on the world.

But on the other, we've had... Celebrity Big Brother; I'm a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here, a thousand and one home makeover shows and God knows how many fly on the wall docu-soaps.

Most of the stuff I watch on TV nowadays is on cable. I.E. Cartoon Network, Discovery Channel, Food Network, Sci-Fi Channel etc. And even then, I rarely watch them during the day since all the shows tend to stink. I mean, the only real American cartoons I watch are, Marvel/DC comic shows (X-Men, Justice League Unlimited, Batman), the weird funny shows (Aqua Teen Hunger Force). And of course, whenver they show a good one, anime on CN. Everything else I tend to skip.

Though I do think House is an awesome show. I just don't have the time to watch it.

to tell the truth, I was devastated when I got my college schedule because from 7 to 10 on Tuesday I have advanced Biology. I didn't know what to do! My 2 favorite shows, NCIS and House, I had to miss. that is until I was reading the Recomended fic thread and I relearned about VCR's. To be honest, mine hasn't seen the light of day since '96. But now I don't need to worry at all. You have stood the test of time so now I bow before you, oh humble VCR. :D

I love the Discovery channel myself, and 'Mythbusters' is one of the few shows I watch religiously, along with the Shield.

But talking about U.S. cartoons, how come no one has mentioned the Simpsons?

Ew, you like the Simpsons?

Me, I watch Charmed occasionally. That's it.

BTW, I'm still waiting for that email and/or PM. :p

Well, I used to like the Simpsons, but after a while (been on the air for like 17 seasons), well, let's just say that I lost interest a long time ago. And that's partly due to what I saw was a reduction in quality.

Anyways, I watch on occasion, "Deadliest Catch" and of course, "Mythbusters". But... I missed last nights. :( Good thing they will eventually replay it like most cable shows. ^_^

I also watch a very funny soap opera/fighting series called WWE SmackDown. The storylines are so bad I can't help but laugh. Good comedy.

...what? Wait, you mean WWE is supposed to be a sport? Surely, you jest!
