i decided to write up a part of how i envisioned part of the story going.
As Danny looked the being in front of him who could only be himself in his ghost form he thought about what had brought him to this point. It seemed like only days ago that he, Sam and Tucker were planning a cross country road trip when they literally ran into what seemed like a young Japanese couple that went by the name Ichigo and Rukia.
Then the Hollows attacked and they discovered that Ichigo and Rukia were beings called soul reapers or at least Ichigo was and that was only because Rukia had lent him her powers. Danny had helped where he could, but more often then not when he was done he felt like he had gone a few rounds with Vlad.
Things had really hit the fan when Some tattooed weirdo named Renji and somebody who was supposedly RukiaÆs brother showed up and arrested Rukia for the crime of giving her powers to a human. He and Ichigo had tried to stop them they had nearly been killed. Although not before Ichigo had brought that Renji fellow to his knees.
Sam and Tucker, who could apparently see Hollows and Soul Reapers because of their close contact to Danny and the other ghost that lived in Amity Park, Had tried to help using some of the weapons from Fenton Works, but had for their trouble been poisoned with a toxin that would leave them in a permanent coma until the antidote was administered.
The problem was that the antidote was in Soul Society and the two werenÆt about to give it to them. Before the death trio had left, RukiaÆs brother had taken back IchigoÆs power and had taken all but a very small amount of his ghostly power leaving only able to go invisible, Both of them had quickly fallen unconscious.
When he had come to, His parents were standing over him in a room that he had never been in before. He quickly learned that he was in Japan and that his parents now knew about his secret. Shortly thereafter a man known as Kisuke Urahara had offered him and Ichigo a chance to save Rukia, Sam and Tucker. To do so would require them to acquire or in IchigoÆs case reacquire Soul reaper powers.
Shortly after that they had started training and they had succeeded (although barely) in acquiring Soul Reaper powers and in his case getting a standard Zanpakuto. Ichigo had started fighting Mr. Urahara and he was fighting that psycho girl in the polka dot skirt. She had been able to knock him for a loop causing him to find himself in the situation that he was in now. It was at this point that the being spoke for the first time.
ôDo you want to save Sam and Tucker?ö
Danny was a little bit indigent when he said ôOf course I do!ö
ôWhy?ö
ôBecause theyÆre my best friends!!ö roared Danny, not admitting even to himself that he wished his relationship with Sam was more.
ôThen you must fight with strength, Battle with resolve and when the time comes release your power!, But before you can do that you must say my name!!!ö
Danny was then jolted back to the consciousness and he suddenly knew what to do, Raising his Zanpakuto and his other arm to the sky he screamed ôWail to the Heavens, PHANTOM.ö DannyÆs sword dissolved in to dust, a dust that circled both of his arms just below the wrist before reforming into a strange metal gauntlets with holes all over the top that Danny would later learn were called Melody Arms.
At that same point the little girl decided to attack, only to be blown back when Danny thrust his fist forward causing a ring of energy that made wailing sound to go forward and hit her.
When she got up she smile and in almost a whisper said ô Well done Dannyö
