Well, the 'Clone Chronicles' was by Mr E, he did go by another name, but can't recall it offhand, and am at work, so can't check that or give links, since it is a lemon.

I must agree, but I personally didn't like the direction that the fic was headed at the end.

Now that I've opened my mouth, I must provide some fics.

Nothing Will Ever Change That by Youngboch. In my opinion, it is one of the better written S/A fics that I've read, and the plot is good. Lost energy at the end though.

The Tiger and the Dragon Saga by The Headcrook. A well written series of stories that involve the "first couple of Capcom", Ryu and Chun-Li from Street Fighter. I've "met" with the author personally, and he still shoots by story ideas with me.

Thanks for the link to Harem Saga. Its good work and I like the simple writing style. Tenchi minus spazzing is an interesting change. Nice to see him willing to cuddle Ryoko, since women really dig cuddling in bed. Really really. I'm married so I know it for sure.

For me this is the definitive English language Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne fic.

Unhealthy Temptaions "A world with so much pain. A world with no laws or morals. In a world like this, any act of pleasure could be considered moral."

A bit limish.

The definitive Dark Naruto fic.

A New Cause by MystikD109.

Started in '04 and ended in '05. One of the only Dark Naruto stories that's not only well written and completed, but also where Naruto actually goes through with burning Konoha to the ground. Almost all others of this sub-genre tend to make him forgive Konoha and live happily ever after in the Leaf for little to no reason and it quickly becomes totally unbelievable.

The was very good. Though there is at least one to rival it, the Special Delivery arc of:

'Special Delivery' is a nice story but relied too much on the premise that Genma would spend time near the Tendos without actually visiting them. I also think 'Little Things' is the best Ranma/Kasumi short story that stays in canon.

JohnnyG's (Does he still post here?) 'Aijou & Aitou' is the best in-canon R/K series (and is also in need of an update!).

:eek:t: I followed the link to John Morales' site. (BTW - 'A Deft Touch' is a good Ranma/Nabiki story; also a good Akane dies story.) He had another link to his old homepage. One of the fics he mentioned there sounds interesting but has a dead link.

Does anyone have any idea of where I can find 'The Setting Moon' by Nikholas F. Toledo Zu?

It is hosted on the long abandoned and much missed Church of Ranma and Kasumi (CORK). There are several other good fics there, such as Man Enough, and Nothing Wrong with This Picture, the definitive Ranma/Kasumi lemon.

BTW - Did you ever continue Mentor & Disciple? It isn't in your website. I always wanted to see how Ranma got married to both Akane and Kasumi. I'm assuming it wasn't at the same time. Plus I can only recall one Kasumi dies story.

It`s citrus,but I think bsmarts Concubine Chronicles had alot of potential as a Harem Tenchi fic.

Personally,I don`t care for the multi-lead character approach taken in Clone Chronicles[or a certain recent Romance Magic comedy anime]. It seems too easy.

Written by 'Oscar', it was about the 'true love' between 'Oscar' and Artemis, the male moon cat from Sailor Moon. One of the worst pieces of written trash. I couldn't even get through the first half.

Even worse was Chibi-Usa's 7th Birthday Party. Chibi-Usa gets her birthday wish: sex with all the senshi and Tux Mask.

Gaaahhh...

My brain needs bleaching now... :sick2:

No links, because I don't have them, and because I didn't think anyone actually wanted to read this crap.

The only problem I have with that fic is that the author has gotten a bit crazy with the crossovers. Bringing in SG1 wasn't necessary, and I think detracts from the rest of the goodness.

To be honest, I am not too sure it is a bad thing, for one it gives a reason for the initiative and, for another, there was enough forshadowing and implications of the cross going way back.
if anything it has been masterfully handled, though it is yet to be seen how it plays out.

Suikoden 1/2: The best example of a fic that could have been truly epic and done well...as well as a FINISHED True Epic Ranma Crossover...but it defines the word "too many crossovers."

When I stopped reading (chapter 47) it was something like 30 crossovers.
After that, he started adding like....5 per chapter.

I'm in a pinch here...

"Ascension to Supremacy" by Lord Rance or Insertion, both would fit "zomg wtf how many damn crossovers are there and why does it still make a tiny bit of sense" very well.

But given that I call Insertion for "the" SI fic (it's funny, bloody and daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaamn long), I'd say Ascension gets "Too Many Crossovers" for free.

Brightly Burning by Aishuu as both Best Hikaru no Go and Best HnG AU fic. It is at times a frightening story, and the portrayal of a far colder Hikaru is extremely well done.

I agree, fully. And the fact that the first, what, ten chapters make my EYES BLEED FROM THE PAIN has nothing to do with the fact that I summarily dropped it from my story alert list after finishing what had been posted a few months ago.
*shudder*

The best stories go to hell quicker than I can say "Mwrauwarlgruwargl" with the amount of typos Suikoden 1/2 contains.

(damn me and my stupidity, this should've gone here and not into a followup doublepost X_x)

I haven't read any of these, but I think Hybrid Theory qualifies on both fronts. It's a friggin' huge crossover and a self-insert... and it still makes sense.
