Disney Animated Marvel Movies

So it appears Disney is beginning to roll out animated movies based on its Marvel properties. I'm gonna post this here and also in the Marvel Movie thread over in the movie forum.

The first movie down the pipe is Big Hero 6, they're somewhat obscure but I'm a happy camper cause I'm a fan of 'em.

So now I'm somewhat less of a happy camper because of the recent Expo revealing more details. The guy doing the movie seems... a bit more peppy/stupid than I had expected! Rather than Japan it's going to be set in "San Fransokyo" a mash-up city. Baymax is going to be A) an INFLATABLE robot (because the creator wants him 'cuddly') and B) based on Hiro Hamada's older brother instead of father.

Now most of that I can get behind, the changes aren't that major, more in tone than anything. But the creative mind behind the movie seems to think that a teenage boy who creates a super robot to serve as a protector/father/older brother figure based on a deceased family member is going to want to make that robot... cuddly...

It's a bit odd.
