I was watching episode 18, and something that I didn't spot before came to me. When Lune appears and fight Masaki, she talks about how Bian 'was the only father she had'. I just realized how bad Masaki must have felt, since she has essentially the same reason to go after him that he has to go after Shu. Not nice to realize he is at least partly the same as his nemesis, heh ?
