Nasuverse Dungeon Keeper Shirou

A nice update, it's somewhat bland but informative so I look at it like a neccesary evil. I hope Shirou or the harem is smart enough to pick up useful items from all the worlds that they have access to and realize that they won't be limited by concealing the existance of the supernatural in several of the places they can travel to.

Tracing rooms, right?

Yeah, not gonna make a blind bit of difference to Nick. Might as well enjoy the ride.

For the record, he's not actually using his UBW projection abilities to create the rooms; he's using the dungeon heart's alchemy to do it. He's just using a similar piece of magic he's familiar with as a metaphor for the way he controls it.

I just had a thought.

Shirou can only power UBW for a few minutes at best.

The Dungeon Heart supplies more mana for every claimed space, +1 for each.

UBW would be Shirou's ultimate weapon, if he could just keep it up... But he just doesn't have enough MANA.

So... Why not use UBW... And have Imps claim territory in there? Claim enough territory... And eventually, UBW starts producing a net gain, allowing him to use it for as long as he wants.

Inside the UBW is a literally infinite expanse, he'll probably only be able to open it long enough for them to claim about 10 or so spaces, each Imp will only be able to get 2 or 3 with the limited time frame.

But after a few times... He'll be able to open it longer, and they'll be able to claim more territory.

After a month or so, he should have a few thousand territory in there, considering his canon Mana capacity is only a couple hundred, that's a huge improvement.

Though if he can use the Mana of his Dungeon Heart, letting it charge all the way to 200,000 and then using THAT for UBW should let him get quite a bit of territory, considering that would let him hold it for conceivably a day or two.

Though, if he can do that he could just spam Caliburn, since the only reason he can't now is because he doesn't have enough mana capacity, Saber couldn't even do it until she was Rin's Servant because Rin's mana capacity comes out to 1200.

Hell drop a Dungeon Heart in that bitch.

Let's see them destroy something hidden in his soul.

Or alternatively creating an amulet like the Jewel Sword Zelretch or the Kaleidostick to use the 2nd Magic to provide the added prana, but Shirou and anyone else he's able to gain the alligence of might somehow use the knowledge of the 2nd Magic combined with whatever is gained from studying the Dungeon Heart to great effect.

Actually.

What IS shirou's Mana capacity or whatever it's called.

I remember someone explaining to me that Tohsaka Rin's comes out to be 1200 with her family symbol or whatever it's called giving her extra magic circuits, increasing her output to that amount.

I THINK they also said Shirou had 3 or 5 hundred, but I just checked the Fate wiki and it doesn't say the 'power level' of either of them.

Some hard stats would probably be useful.

You can always try /rs/.

Hard limit of 27 circuits.

With an efficiency of 10 each?

About?

270?

That's as much as UBW.

As for Rin, she should be 1000. Ish.

Dungeon Keeper 2 is supposedly better then DK1, I haven't played DK1 much though, the link is for 2.

Also, thank you.

Remember that Rin's family crest gives her... 40 extra circuits, that's what I was told was the reason she had 1200.

But whatever.

His reaction to the 200,000 Mana Capacity per Dungeon Heart should be hilarious though.

That leaves him, in story, with 200,270 Mana at maximum charge and rest, that's an almost 10000% increase in raw power, he should be able to hold UBW for about a day with just that, I just did the math and if his normal amount of 270 can hold it for ten minutes, then holding it for ten hours would barely even put a freaking dent in that shit.

And if we're going by the pretty good canon made by all the Dungeon Keeper threads, Shirou can't use his Keeper reserves outside his territory.

So if he follows my suggestions, he'll be able to DRAG anyone near him into the Dungeon in his soul, he would be able to walk into an enemy dungeon, activate UBW and then casually rape them all while the enemy keeper futilely tries to escape the infinite plain of swords.

I'll point out that in Dungeon Keeper, it takes 6,000 Mana to cast a non-lethal (but still damaging) lightning bolt. I really doubt that it takes anywhere near as much to do so in the Nasuverse; even Excalibur only uses several hundred to a thousand. Therefore, the mana units in Dungeon Keeper must describe a smaller unit of magical power than those of the Nasuverse. The Type Moon Wiki says that one of Caster's bolts of light uses 70-200 units of prana, and they're an attack on the level of High Thaumaturgy (which the Dungeon Keeper lightning bolt probably isn't).

Keep in mind, the people your using that lightning on are either Demons, highly trained evil warriors and beings who are probably just short of being worthy of becoming Heroic Spirits or Counter Guardians and are probably decked out in magic armor.

There's also the fact that Dungeon Keeper magic seems to be downright wasteful, like they have so much power they barely even need it to work

While the Nasuverse mages have so little they need to make every bit count, and seem to be downright ridiculously efficient.

Plus, all those spells are super long range, you can hit someone with one even if your in another dungeon a few thousand miles away.

EDIT: Which, now that I think about it, is probably what happens in the actual games.

Then too Shirou should be getting a constant influx of prana from the Heart with a large enough prana gain per turn he'd could potentionally keep UBW up as a perpetual effect across all the territory he controls. It'd sure beat the hell out of using the canon traps, an enemy steps in the bounded field and BAM pinccushion of swords. :evil2:

Actually...

Dwarves: Lancer? Their Picks are close enough I guess, and when they get high level their fast as hell if their counterpart status to Imps holds.

Thieves: Assassin, weak one though.

Wizard: Caster, definitely.

Guard: Lancer, probably weak ones though.

Elven Archer: Archer, duh.

Royal Guard: Lancer, much better then the regular guards.

Fairy: Caster.

Monk: Assassin. We see in Fate/Extra that, once you bypass the Hassan i Sabbah rule, Assassin is the Martial Artist class.

Knight: Saber.

Giant: Berserker, without doubt.

Lord of the Land: All of them qualify for Saber, though if you mixed it up no one would really care.

Actually, this isn't true. Fake Assassin is only an "Assassin" because that was the only class left. He doesn't genuinely fit there.

He doesn't really fit anywhere, since he qualifies for basically none of their criteria.

Considering the legend where his role was killed, you might be able to stretch Berserker. That is about it.

Fake Assassin isn't in Fate/Extra.

I'm Talking about Assassin Li Shuwen, a Chinese martial Arts master, who was famous for his special Qi attack that he invented...

Which involved hitting the opponent and making their organs explode apparently.

Plus, there are apparently a 128 servants in the game of various classes, it also introduces the Savior/Saver (It one of those two.) Class. (in the game, it's Buddha. Also, we now have the Class Jeshua/Jesus would be summoned as.)

We'll just have to wait for more information, So far, if the high number of servants is true, we'll get to see a couple Assassin's, none of which will be Hassan i Sabbah.
