Okay, since we're cluttering up the Funny Comic Pictures thread, I figured it would be good to give it it's own topic.
Anyway Endzone is a tournament set up by the creater of the web comic Ever After. Basically it is a huge artist battle between OCs the artists created. Each artist would be pit against the other and draw a comic showing how a battle between the two characters would go, and the best comic 'wins' and is sent to the next round to do another one. Recently the final battle has been finished, and now the final prize is awaited.
This is all 64 entries into the tournament (Click to be sent to the page which has the respective artists below the image). Overall it was a lot of fun to read. I read both the finalists entries (Or in the case of Climber, watched the awesome flashes), and was amazed at the incredible way it was written. I enjoyed Unknown's Climber character immensely (See sig), and greatly enjoyed the storytelling of Lan's entries for his character Dood.
Other people of note would be Grampy by Effendee, Baghead by Sketchfighter316, Alice by Eisenevsky, Skye by Ma-sterSolly, Chimbley Sweep by Concentrationmoon, the female demon by Zombiesmile, OMG by Sebby the freak, Ms. Crowley by the Crowchan, Shado by Shadoboxxer and the Devil Plushie by Renata-young. Mr. Seles by Captrosko is good too, in a money grubbing kind of way. All these can be viewable through the link on the image.
Overall the tournament was a lot of fun to watch, and I eagerly await the final entry.
Also it brings up the question of the possibility of a similar OC tournament being held among writers, looking at how successful this one was.
