Okay, here's my situation: once school starts up again, I'm planning on suggesting to my college's anime club that we watch Tamers. The way we do it is to first suggest shows that we want to watch over the semester at the regular meeting. Then we vote on those shows to narrow down the list to watch at a "grab-bag" showing, where we watch one episode to try and get an idea of the series. Then we vote on the grab-bag shows we want to watch over the whole semester.
So, what I'm asking for is suggestions and opinions on what episode to show to get people interested. Usually, we just go with the first episode, but it's kind of slow. I'm thinking something to distinguish it from how people might perceive it, since it's Digimon, but want to avoid any major spoilers.
I was kind of thinking the IceDevimon episode. It's got some of the creepiness with him stalking Ruki and his little lair where he displays the Digimon he's loaded, and subverts the ideas of "kid in trouble, partner evolves and wins" and "kids only purpose is to make the Digimon evolve" with the fight.
