Despite the reality, whatever the hell it is, it was very nice seeing what Evangelion may have been like if it had a decent budget.

Also, the soundtrack. MY GOD, THE SOUNDTRACK!

I actually did not care for the movie much when I watched 1.0 fansubbed. Except Misato... her being far more cold blooded and less caring toward Shinji actually makes more sense to me.

Now that it is out where I can buy, I'll likely pick it up with my next order to Rightstuf.


As forLord Raa stating Gainax is attempting to bilk the community... I agree. just look at the various box sets the series has been released in the U.S. as. I have the original separate DVD's, and will likely never bother with repurchasing it unless the copy I have breaks.
