I saw a serious lack of Hotblooded!Shinji in that trailer. This is a problem that better not extend to the movie.

I can see someone recutting that trailer to make it look like Shinji and Kaworu are having sex.

And I don't know if I should feel rage at that or just faint amusement for the potential trolling.

Wait what. If that thing is what I think it is, that means that Eva-01 was sent to the moon base for repairs or something, and was sent back in that segment. An angel hitched a ride, and Eva-01 wakes up and blows the fuck out of it from its cross shaped container before Asuka got fucked up.

That's Eva 01 with Shinji and Rei still in it, frozen in bakelite and stuck into heavily armored container.

Asuka and Mari were sent up to recover the container, we have to wait for the rest of the movie to find out how this came to be.

Gotta love Shinji shutting Asuka and that squealing thing up at the same time and going back to sleep.

Note: no spoiler... if you haven't seen the anime yet, you're over 10 years late.
This scene, to me, feels lilke the remake/alternative interpretation to the episode in where Shinji and EVA-01 were trapped in the "black sphere angel's shadow" which was infinitesimally thin (Dirac Sea) and was growing and absorbing a lot of land.

Only to be followed by another trippy/trolly scene... and then 'zerks/hulks out to rip out of that summbitch (the real shadow was the black sphere).

I won't say anything about the plot yet, but from what I have been reading, the series is now incredibly SUPER.

Seeing the footage and fanart of Asuka with the eyepatch has given me a terrible idea for a terrible story.

But the thing is, it's barely enough for an outline at the moment, and I wouldn't know where to take the idea or where anyone else could take the idea, so I don't know if I should post it.
