Yes to the first... and an unfortunate no to the second. Chapter Four of Half an Age has been started, and I know how it'll end. It's the middle bits that are getting me.
The second was poorly received overall... and it was meant to be a challenge to others. Rockman Zero and I came up with another way for the challenge to be issued, other than using the Bet premise, and that may come out.

1) Ranma was rather angry when he found out there was no way home for him in Tar Valon, even though he expected it. He was even less amused when they found out from Moiraine that he could channel saidar. The first male channeler of saidar... Siuan Sanche refused to let him train outside of female form for fear of the Red Ajah.
2) Ranma ran from the Tower about a month after Elayne, Nynaeve, Akane and Egwene disappeared. He was able to hide in male form and sought them out. He ended up running into Perrin's group shortly thereafter.
3) Ranma wasn't quite sure how he ended up getting bonded as Akane's warder, and yet he wasn't her lover. They had form a sibling-like bond over the years and he would protect his sister with his life.

Considering cgobyd was probably talking about Two Halves, One Power, I must give a warning here. There are Major spoilers for the fic if you read the following facts.

2) The first person in this time period that he demonstrated his curse to didn't freak out. In fact, she merely continued her hero worship of the "Aes Sedai" in that she could assume multiple forms. Yes, it was the lovable urchin, Lina.
3) Try as he might, Ranma could never seem to get rid of Lina. Somehow she always ended up traveling with him. It got to the point where he had to teach her how to fight so she wouldn't be in his way if things went south.

Usagi:
1) Usagi was very happy when her daughter Chibi-Usa was born, but was surprised when she was born before the Great Freeze. She was even more surprised when she found out that she and the others had prevented the Great Freeze from happening... and managed to get involved in Politics.
2) Usagi managed to get the world united under one banner, when the invaders came. She and the other Senshi stood side by side with the armies of the world, prepared to stop the alien threat. It was because of her leadership here that she became Neo-Queen Serenity... The world was on her side.
3) Neo-Queen Serenity considered the cleansing that had been talked about in the future, but decided against it. Instead she offered to use her crystal to extend the lives of those subjects who desired it.
4) When the serial killer known as Death Phantom was brought before her, the courts left her two choices for the man: the death penalty or exile. Being merciful, she chose to exile him off planet, knowing what this would likely mean for her future. Still she prepared for it.
5) Oddly enough it was Akane who eventually taught Usagi how to cook. The two of them together managed to destroy four of the royal kitchens before they got what they were making right. Pity the royal cleaners.
6) Neo-queen Serenity stepped down from her throne after her elected time was up, giving the throne up for a senate seat. She made sure to train her successor in the politics of the seat, and was applauded for a successful reign.
