Title's probably not all that accurate, but I couldn't think of a better one so... Anyway, this is a thread to discuss fanfics that, while they started off brilliantly, and were thoroughly enjoyable, they just deserved a better end than they got.
Not just epilogue's mind you, actual final arc's could be counted as well.
To get the ball rolling, I think FavPokémon: Lelouch of the Rebellion had so much wasted potential, while the final arc was down right painful to read through. I stopped to wonder to myself "was this even written by the same person?" I mean, it started going down hill when Red first showed up, and then got to the point of almost no recovery when the Deoxys took over the plot.
