Same here. Also on the web browser on my Kindle Fire.

I think the feed system may be temporarily down... as I've had practically no FF.NET feed update in the last several hours...

Every feed for FF.NET is timing out, and the links on the site, which are the same as always, are also not working.

Feeds are still all down... annoying. They did not seem to change the feed links, as even going to them in the site itself goes to the same link, and it is not displaying using that method either.

Anyone know whether the email alerts are working or not? I would not know since I never used them.

I'm still getting emails for the stories/authors I'm following. Don't use the feeds, personally.

Well... category feeds seem back up. But author feeds are still down.

Just a warning, FFnet has started using a fucking image captcha to block robot logins. This is going to turn out to be a massive pain in the ass, because the images can't be upsized apparently. God fucking damn it. Fuck. FUCK!

Might be something to bring to their attention as a accessibility issue.

Are those the ones where you have to slide the fucking button to make them align? I can never get the fucking things to work!

Looks like something's wrong with ff.net's review system. Doesn't affect readers, but anybody who uploads their fics probably won't be receiving Reviews until it's fixed.

Seems like Reviews are working again.

Don't know if it's just me with the authors I follow, but I've been getting fic update emails, yet when I go to them, the chapter and sometimes the brand new story are nuked. I checked some story reviews and only a few people are getting to read the new chapter before it gets deleted. Is this happening with anyone else?

The chapters are there, they're just taking a lot longer to be authenticated.

I'm having the problem now too. Got the alert a story updated about 6 hours ago and still can't actually read it.

Not the first time they've had this problem either.

I've not seen an issue yet, but I do not use the alert system. But, yes, if the servers get out of sync that they use, then freshly updated or new stories temporarily dissapear.

I have the FF.Net app and I've seen like 3 stories updated on the app, but the stories haven't updated on the website. I even tried altering the web addresses to go directly to the chapters in question to no avail. The glitch took me completely by surprise because I just posted a new chapter on one of my own stories very recently and it updated straight away with no issues.

That being said, the FF.Net App will allow you to read the updated stories. While the new chapters aren't updating to the site properly, the App is still working as it should.

Well... I can confirm it is happening now, where before I was fine. One story I was tracking just shows as updated, but no new chapter present, and a different story in a different category I downloaded last night with a new chapter, now has it missing...

I must have gotten my chapter in just before the glitch happened because I haven't had that problem with what I posted and some of the stories I have seen updated in the app have since updated on the website properly. I haven't checked them all though, simply because I've been reading them on the app on my phone.

It's gotten to the point that new chapters and stories are outright disappearing and reappearing at random intervals now. Someone will post something new, it will show on the site for a few minutes, disappear for hours, come back for a little bit, then disappear again. This is just aggravating.

To risk sounding like a broken record... The App, thankfully, isn't having that problem.

Hmmm... as an addendum... just now for another story if going to the category for it was not showing as updated, but going to it directly shows as updated 6 hours ago. IN this case, the story was perfectly accessible, and present, just not shhowing in the category as such.

For anyone using FanFiction.NET downloader, it will not help with this, as it needs to be able to get at it to download it.

I updated another one of my stories earlier. It took two hours to reflect that the fic in question was 119 chapters instead of 118. However, pressing on the link for the lastest chapter, just takes you to the "this chapters hasn't uploaded yet" page. Also, the system isn't treating the fic as if it's been updated, despite the it's showing that a new chapter has been updated. Usually, recently updated fics will move to the top of a writer's fic list. That isn't the case at the moment.

There's a difference between the various fanfiction downloaders and the official FF.Net App. While the website is still having troubles showing the recent uploads, the FF.Net does not. While I can't access the newest chapter of my recently updated fic on FF.Net, the FF.Net App not only shows the update, but has already downloaded the newest chapter. Whatever is glitch that is plaguing the website isn't affecting the functionality of the App itself.

I can confirm, it seems to be working on my end as well. Well here goes a good chunk of Saturday to catching up on stuff.
