Fanfiction section?

I was just wondering if anyone else would have liked it if another section was added to the various topics ... a Fanfiction section in addition to a Preview section ... or would that be too complicated/redundant?
I'm not complaining, please, don't misunderstand ... I really like The Fanfiction Forum as it is, but would stories that have been previewed need to be posted elsewhere once the author has gotten the bugs worked out with the help of the members of TFF?

The Preview section is for everything from first draft to final copy.

Our 'fanfiction' section is where ever the author decides to publish their story, be it FF.net, Ficwad, Mediaminer, AFF, or whatever.

I agree. Fanfiction would be redundant, though you should change to sub title so that it includes Final Copies.

While not related, I was wondering if we could get an Original Fiction Forum? I would love to showcase some of my original stuff. I know this is the FANFiction Forum, but I think it would be nice...

That would actually be cool. I've been working on my original stuff for a while now, and would love a chance to show it.

It's scary, kinda, that my fanfics are longer then my original stuff.

As others said, the Previews section takes care of that pretty well.

When I think 'Fanfiction Section', I'm thinking more of a seperate section to talk about existing stories that aren't on this site. I've seen other forums do that and it's actually pretty interesting once it gets goin'.

One thing that kind of irritates me about some of the 'Preview' threads is that the story is split among dozens of posts that are interspersed with perhaps a dozen non-story replies apiece.

It means that, to read a story, I have to page through page after page of commentary and response. Which can get a bit tedious.

All an author has to do is request that a seperate thread is made for comments.

Fosfor, I like your stories, but it really is a pain to read them when they're scattered around a 20+ page thread...
