Well I can already see two major points of contention in the story having read it all in one sitting a few days ago: That being Ichigo going Blade-to-blade with Berserker and a Bankai'd Getsuga Tensho almost holding an active Excalibur to a standstill. Those two points alone have the potential to set off a lot of F/SN fans. Heck they seemed oddly overpowering to me.

Now what happened to Bazett and Shirou gaining spiritual awarness and eventual powers is going to be interesting if done right.

Nameless Flame Wielder is the author for anyone looking for them on FF.net.

Ugh, the first chapter is really weak. Urahara exposes, and then finishes up by sending Yusuke and the Spirit Detectives (okay, Ichigo and the SD) to go sniff around Fuyuki City. He makes mention of the catastrophes of the 4th Grail War... well, okay, if you're going to spin that, maybe the much bigger catastrophes of the 3rd Grail War should be mentioned?

Also... in a crossover, if one is post-series and the other is pre-series, then as a rule, the characters from the former will be able to ROFLSTOMP the later. Now sometimes that's acceptable and sometimes it even works, but... I don't think it will work here.

I dunno. I'm willing to cut the author some slack over the whole type-lunatic thing. No, that's not right; I'm willing to forgive that one thing.

But I'm not willing to forgive the heavy-handed cross-over on top of that. The central story hooks is... there's nothing that makes me want to read the next chapter.

EDIT: Okay I lied about forgiving the lack of canon knowledge thing when Rider starts explaining what True Magic is to Ichigo (yes that really happened) I was like "okay this is ridiculous goodbye."

???

Seems reasonable to me. I mean the two examples you gave anyways.

The guy completely got Excalibur's function wrong. It isn't a slashing attack the the Getsuga. Its a piercing attack with all of the heat and light being an aftereffect of the blast. It also doesn't stop or slow down like that. It'll go through what it hits or it'll waste itself and be finished. There is also no adding more prana to it in the middle of the blast.

Guy completely raped the ability to make a cliched shounen beam battle.

Is authority actually from something, or did he invent it for this story? I don't remember seeing it mentioned before, and I can't find it on the wiki.

Also, as I mentioned in a review, I'd love to see Ichigo try to that beam battle trick against Gilgamesh's Enuma Elish. A full power Enuma Elish.

Won't happen. He's already stated on the spacebattles thread that Ea at that power will win everytime, whether its Ichigo or Yamamoto.

No,authority doesn't exist, but they think that it does in the Nasuverse. They went over this on spacebattles, but didn't want to take the trouble of arguing about it. What they are doing is making an utter mess of how the purity of certain mysteries, how close they are to the Source, react to each other. It does not come up very often, the only instances I can think of off the top of my head are Herakles Godhand which specifies rank and the case of Noble Phantasms that descended from another.

Ah, ok. Thanks. I don't follow Spacebattles, so, yeah.
