There are a total of 128 servants. In addition to the original 7 classes, there is a new 8th class: Savior. Repeats exist. Only Archer 1 and Lancer 1 are the same people.

Originally, Kinoko Nasu was credited as a script overseer / advisor. Following a game delay of over half a year, Kinoko was recredited as scenario writer. It's rumored that the original script was so terrible that everything had to be rewritten from scratch.



Caster 1 = The Kyuubi -- that is, the only 9-tailed fox in history.
Red Saber = Nero, the Roman Emperor



Assassin 1 = Li Shuwen, the inventor of Bajiquan



Last Boss / Savior = The Buddha



Saber 2 = Gawain



Hidden Character: Berserker 2 = Arc



Rider 1 = Francis Drake (female)

Archer 2 = Robin Hood

Caster 2 = "Nursery Rhyme"
Caster 2's Master = Alice Liddel (of Alice in Wonderland)

Lancer 2 = Vlad Dracula

Berserker 1 = Lu Bu, who has a magical Chinese gadget that transforms into 5 weapons.

WTF, Emperor Nero!? and Fransis Drake as women??? :huh!:

Arturia may have had Merlin to help conceal her true sex, but how the Hell were those two supposed to have passed as men? or are they just rewriting history for those two?

I'm not big on mythology or history so who the hell are theses people, I only recognize Robin hood, Gawain, Dracula, and Buddha

You haven't ever heard of either Nero or Sir Francis Drake? Have you ever had a History Class that wasn't exclusively American History?

Nero: Mad Emperor of Rome; supposedly played the fiddle from atop a tall tower as Rome burned to the ground.

Francis Drake: Legendary English naval hero, defeated the Spanish Armada, one of the first to circumnavigate the Globe, and much more beside. Had a drum that legend states will sound when England is in peril.

Nero was a playboy/hedonistic/slacker Roman Emperor who'd rather play sports in Greece than actually rule the Empire. Oh and he'd suppossed to have killed off a fair number of people including his own mother. Honestly Nero is regarded as a first class shmuck.

Sir Drake was an English privateer, official pirate for the crown, and explorer who captained the first English voyage around the world.

Nero may have hand in actually starting the fires that caused large sections of Rome to burn because afterwards he confiscated over 100+ acres of city realestate to build himself a huge palace/bath/garden complex. Oh and he blamed Christians for it so had them crusified and thrown to the dogs, really Throne of Heroes stuff. :sweat2:

Apparently, if you choose the romance path for Caster-Kyuubi, there's a point where it looks like everything is leading up to an H-Scene. When you get there, she tells you to turn your PSP off and go to the toilet.

The scene where you admit your feelings for her, the choices are as follows:

1) I like you.
2) Rin's on my mind more ...
3) Um, is there a Save Point nearby?

If you choose Number 3, she says, "Well, you better prepare to load your saves now."

The map interface controls and the school layout are exactly like Persona4. Don't know where the library is? Follow your experience from P4.

Wait, wait, wait, so is Caster Kyuubi the Kyuubi in Investiture of the Gods, the one that ran around bringing out the end of the Shang Dynasty and hanging out with a Nine-Headed Pheasant?
'Cause if so, I so called it, even though there weren't all that many sort-of-kind-of-not-really-named Kyuubi running around.

Nope...the Kyuubi depicted here is not Daji....she's officially identified as the one from Japan Tamamo no Mae (even her Noble Phantasm has something to do with the killing stone from Japanese lore)

As for Archer's unnaturally high stats in Fate/Extra...this answer was quoted from someone else in another forum i frequent:

"The servant's stats aren't fixed, the player can buy increases (in some manner). Apparently, all the picture has him will EX ranks for everything because the guy was playing a New Game plus, and thus started from a higher point."

That kind reminds me of the various Looping threads. Imagine if something like that had happened in F/S N canon; EMIYA being summoned as a Counter Guardian and having to fight so many times while always increasing his stats until he was beyound almost all other Servants/Guardians. Although if that worked for EMIYA then every CG would eventually become EX'd

Ha ha, the hilariously awesome thing about old stories is that there're so many different versions of them that they get all tangled up with others. I could've sworn that at least one version of Tamamo-no-Mae was supposed to have been Daji in the past, although most versions identify her as having been Baosi instead. Either way, this is going to be fun.
Although Francis Drake still confuses me, was his/her name left like that or was it altered?

If you're asking whether Francis Drake is his original name then, yes, it is. If you're asking whether it was altered for the purposes of the game, that's probably not really a question we can answer, because it will have been altered due to the fact that it had to be converted into Japanese sounds.

And one of the Servants you can get is Archer? Rad. If only I had a PSP and was japanese. ALAS.
