Nasuverse Fate/Mirror Universe

This is an idea that came to my mind, but since I'm too busy I'm giving it up. Here's the basic outline:

What if, due to some reality ripple of undetermined origin (blame magic, planetary alignment or random Act of ORT, if you want), Masters and Servants in the 5th Grail War suddenly switched places, causing the Servants to regain their mortal bodies and the Masters to take on the class and empowerment their former Servants had?

The net result would be:

-Master: Medusa / Servant: Rider Matou Sakura (Shinji rots and dies the moment Medusa is free from restrictions, so nyah)
-Master: Arturia / Servant: Saber Emiya Shirou
-Master: EMIYA / Servant: Archer Tohsaka Rin
-Master: Sasaki Koujirou - Servant: Caster Medea - Irregular Servant: False Assassin Kuzuki Souichirou
-Master: Heracles - Servant: Berserker Ilyasviel von Einzbern
-Master: Cu Chulainn - Servant: Lancer Bazett Fraga McRemitz (again, I imagine soon as Cu Chulainn breaks free, Kotomine dies a horrible, miserable death)

Zouken crawled off and died somewhere after True Assassin Commanded him to stab himself to death and then went chill in Saudi Arabia or something >_>

Needless to say, the situation becomes... more than a little chaotic as a result. And some of the newly-minted Servants may not even be especially adept at the Servant role they found themselves stuck in!

What follows is up for anyone to imagine, but I am pretty sure it'll be a royal mess. And with no way to know whether things will go back to 'normal' (and with some Servants-turned-Masters being just fine with the current situation, I might add), acting rashly may not be the best idea...

So, feel free to mess around with the idea. Yes, it's probably not doable by Nasuverse rules. Watch me give all of two rat droppings about it, I've grown tired of having to obey the overly strict rules it has. -_-

The real wildcards there would be Medea and EMIYA as they could get murder-happy kinda quick.
Though I think Cu Chulainne and Arturia could probably get along without a certain priest being a dick.

...does anyone else think that Berserker Illya would be incomprehensibly moe?

I don't think I've got the patience or grasp of the characters to actually do the writing, but I think I can contribute a few lul--ideas.

When Rider, Archer and Saber meet up, they're obviously going to want to cooperate. Or have a super-powered orgy. Whatever. How do they convince Medusa, EMIYA Shirou and Arturia to do so? Or is that where orgy number one starts?

Also, if you don't go the humor/crack route (in which case shame on you!) Gilgamesh.

If you do then lol!Gilgamesh. After watching the first season of Carnival Phantasm I can't see this ending up as anything other then hilarious.

The real wildcards there would be Medea and EMIYA as they could get murder-happy kinda quick.

Yeah, Medea and EMIYA are likely to go stabhappy. On top of that, the setup Medea was in means she's still stuck as Caster... but with Kuzuki becoming a Servant, and he was already doing enough damage as it was as a Reinforced human (just ask Rider lol). Can't imagine how bad it'd be with him as a Servant and Reinforcement stacked on to boot.

EDIT: That said, the huge dealbreaker is Heracles. Where everyone else can be dealt with, a Heracles with full control of his mind... a lot less so. Even with a mortal body he's still guaranteed to be strong enough to crunch most everyone else into paste.

Instead of the fragment of Heracles' tomb the Eizenbern's thought they got, their 'contact' gave them a fragment of "Hercules Tomb" from Hercules the Legendary Journeys Continue or whatever... so instead of the bastard son of Zeus they got the modern day bastard man-whore as Hercules and the mad enhancement made up the difference?"

"...yeah, in a nutshell." Was the vaguely abashed answer given by pretty-boy and not-at-all a demigod Kevin Sorbo.

"Well, at least you got Illya's command seals so she can help plan things out, right?" Shirou, ever the optimist, pitched in cheerfully.

"...yeah, about that..." There was nothing vague this time.

"----!!!" It was horrible. It was unnatural. The sound that was made by such a small body was equal in volume and violence if perhaps not in pitch, to that which had come from the supposed 'demi-god' previously. A sound, that was never meant to happen.

"...no, not so much right now."

"...I don't think even your stomach ever made that kind of noise, Sa--Arturia."

"You're an ass, 'Master'." Even such changes as they faced now could not change their new Archer's talent for blunt and obvious.

"...I guess I'll go make dinner..."

Because super or otherwise, even heroes need to eat.

Hey. Kevin Sorbo voiced Hercules in God of War 3. He was also in Andromeda. That could mean that he would qualify as Rider class too. Kull might give him Saber points as he was a barbarian king that got the position after killing another king. The dead/dying king himself even handed Kull the crown.


But seriously. Heracles could also be a problem because the city's women wouldn't be safe. At all.
