You need to import it.

For online stores, try Palet Mail or Himeya. Amazon(.co.jp) actually does have it, but they don't ship adult games outside of Japan.

It's really expensive (especially with the shipping), but that's the usual price for these types of things. You may or may not want to try looking around your area for stores that import these types of goods.

EDIT:

I forgot. Himeya recently ported all its adult goods to its ErogeShop section. Although, it says it right on the front page.

Well, there's always the websites we're not allowed to recommend...

It's not like there's any rules against posting torrents or whatever for ripped games on the forum. It's just a small attempt to be respectful to the company and translators not to throw them out there. Oh, and packaging them together with such copies could get the translator in trouble, so that's a big no-no.

But in the first place the question was where to buy them, not pirate them.

Eh, just letting the guy know they're there. I buy when I can, but at some points it just gets ridiculous, or the game's just not out there (Tsuki Possession was...frustrating to try and find). FSN shouldn't be THAT rare.

There is no point buying a overpriced Tsukihime. The makers don't make any money from someone buying a $200 copy that was bought long ago.

Quick question. I have the game. Bought it a long time ago even. Basically, from the mirrormoon menu, you can add Realta's Nua's voice dialogue to the PC version if you have it. Is that correct? If so, I'll kick myself for not picking up a copy cheap at a con last year and hope I can pick one up now for not too much.

Just got reminded of this from something else.

Yeah, although the voice extractor is honestly a huge pain. Can take up to 6-7 hours, and then fail, requiring you to do it again. The best, honest way is simply to buy it, and use the available voice files anyway. e_e;

FAKKU has a custom installer of FSN with the voice files already added...

It worked fine for me.

I perhaps should have looked for the voice files themselves first, though, rather than obtaining two copies of the game just so I could have the voices....

Found the patch at fakku. From what I see, you still need the PS2 game to get voices on the PC. So I still have to buy that, correct?

Do you mean legally, or in practice? Legally, yes you do (and even then, I'm not entirely sure it's allowed, in all honesty...). In practice, I would be amazed if there's not some way around it. If nothing else, the xp3 files can likely be extracted straight from the installer, thus bypassing the CD check.

I definitely managed to get the Realta Nua voices installed without having to buy a copy of the game, or purchasing a copy of Fate for that matter.

And installing the voices does take some time, yeah, but not THAT long. I don't recall exactly where I got the voices from at this point since it's been so long, but they're definitely out there. Usually conveniently close to where you can find a copy of the game.

I imported the game, so that isn't true for me. Honestly, I have no problems buying it. I've seen it at cons, and I've seen it around Chinatown. I just have to wait until I get a bit more money.

Reinstalling the game now since I just remembered that restoring my backed up files doesn't mean automatically reinstalling all the programs.

And I stand corrected on the voices thing, considering there 29,474 voice files to process it looks like it'll take the better part of two hours or so. FOR ULTIMATE FATE/ETC ENJOYMENT, TRY READING A BOOK DURING THIS TIME. MIGHT WE RECOMMEND FATE/ZERO?

Pt1 - Pt2

Install game without voices -> place voice files in directory with other patch files -> re-run the installer, check the Realta Nua option -> watch it integrate voice files -> play.

---Is how I did it after I came back to the installer an hour or two later and it wasn't even close to being finished with the MM installer.

(This WAS on a laptop though, but that made it even worse since I didn't want to strain it that much with that disk going on full spin the whole while.)

Well, I remember having a similar argument with someone before. They said that you needed the RN disk to install the voices using the MM installed, and I claimed to have managed to install the voices using the installer without the disk. Then I went and checked to prove that I could, only to find that I actually couldn't. Which thoroughly puzzled me, since I knew I had the voices, until I accidentally stumbled upon the RN image I'd torrented when I first got FSN....

So, just because you don't remember obtaining a copy of the RN CD, it doesn't mean that you didn't. It just means that you don't remember....
