There are no rules in the creation this time, as I have received many complaints about the dissatisfaction of several people not being able to play in the the roles that they want. However, there are still some guidelines for you to follow; you may be a Servant now, as well as a Mediator (Overseer of Combat). The number of times you may participate in the war are dependent upon the Mediator you refer to (I am one of them, since I created this, by default). Your characters may be from myth, fiction or reality. Crack does not hold a limit here. However, please be aware that the setting must be mainly within TFF City. You may use fellow TFF frequenters as Servants or Masters, provided you have their consent.

Loose in the city are Shadow Beasts as well, hunting down Servants to literally consume their life force, so please be aware of that as well. Arcueid Brunestud and Tohno Shiki are also about, patrolling for any rule-breakers, and I have to say, they do quite a good job. The execution of a fellow Master's Servant, a PC, (Knocking them out) is decided by THREE factors:

1. The Mediator overseeing the battle (Logic Check).
2. The Odds. (Skill Check)
3. The Arrogance Factor. (Luck Check)

The Mediator can decree the knocking out of a Master by replaying uber-godmode checks and logical checks. The skill check is when the total unit counts outrank those of the other. The Luck Check is based on the surroundings of the battle, and can result in escape or even the death of the favourable party.

A massive sword that is as heavy as it looks, Saber wields it without breaking a sweat with one hand. The sword is made out of the most tough of metals, and with enough force, can break through several feet of concrete without so much as a scratch. The blade is also able to be thrown, like a javelin of sorts, to neutralize enemies up to one hundred feet away. The sword is also, by the power of the Grail, able to channel the prana of Saber, making it an even more deadly tool.

Yoki - Unholy Energies Within The Blood

By chanelling the separate source of energy within her, known as Yoki (lit. Demon Energy), Saber is able to enhance her capabilities to A-ranked levels, gaining speed, power and heightened senses to the point of being animalistic. The use of this energy turns her face and body to that of a humanoid monster in return for the power boost, and subsides as soon as she ceases the its chanelling. Too much Yoki used leads her to entering an almost-Berserker state; the only thing sure to stop her is known to be a Command Seal. Yoki is a preliminary requirement for her strongest Phantasm.

Awakening - The Demon Inside

As soon as the Yoki has reached critical mass, Saber's control over her more primal instincts will subside, turning her into a winged and horned demon almost fifteen feet tall, with long arms and legs, as well as the ability to grow weapons from herself, made out of bone. Although this capability is not an official Noble Phantasm, it is known as such due to the unique way it excludes itself to the Claymores of years past, making it an ability of sorts for their kind. Awakening's power is upredictable, and she will attack friend and foe alike in this state. The speed and power boost she receives from Awakening, as well as the madness that comes with it, can only be cancelled by the use of TWO Command Seals: the first to have Saber gain her senses, and the second to have her FORCE the Yoki back.

History:

Raised in an orphanage, he moved out and began to look after himself at an early age. He began performing various odd jobs since he was old enough to get himself an apartment. He balances his work and schooling... barely. Since he's always working or studying, he really doesn't have any close friends. He began realizing his magical potential when he unknowingly changed his appearance to that of an older person. Using this skill he began taking up odd jobs at the age of 8.

Hard working and relatively intelligent, he has had knack for survival. His poor diet has cost him his height (milk is pretty damn expensive). The odd jobs he took up has given him superior strenght, dexterity, and endurance than the normal person. He knows how cruel the world is, but still lacks any street sense. He is the most outgoing sheltered person imaginable.

Heaven's Blessing:

Heaven has rewarded Sousuke for his perseverance and dedication as well as innocence. Increases his luck and healing ability. His magic is charged with holy energy. He also has an aura that hides him from all evil alligned characters when using illusions.

Hell's Blessing:

After taking a number of odd jobs, Sousuke, through providence of Heaven's Blessing, accidently got a job with a minor demon who's job is to capture and return fleeing demons. Using his skills, he was able to locate the demon's without being noticed (heaven's blessing). As a reward, he was paid and received hell's blessing. It gives him protection against fire, devil's luck, and physical abilities. His magic is charged with demonic energy.

Riding:

Being a demonic empress, most mounts of any sort would be completely fearful and unwilling to accomodate her. However, once she summons one of her own demonic steeds, she is a fearsome rider. Riding changes her agility stat to an A.

Independent Action:

Since she broke out of hell, she needs to immediately create a contract to survive. Having been fueled prior by her demonic energy, until she restores her own reserves, she is completely reliant on her master. She will do ANYTHING to ensure her survival and victory in the grail wars.

Will:

Her equivalent of bravery. She won't fold to any sort of mental coercion. Her will to endure will also allow her to keep going even when she doesn't have anything left.

Magic Resistance:

Being a demon, only the more powerful of magics can effect her. The same can't be said of physical attacks course.

Rune Magic:

Fairly proficient in it. Being a demonic empress gives her some knowledge in the forbidden obscure arts of runology.

Instinct:

Her battle prowess, even if she is a caster, is quite uncanny. Having survived the battle of megiddo and being the leader of 26 demonic legions, she has had millenias of battle to hone her skill.

Charisma:

She has none. She will scare the shit out of everyone she meets. She is almost always encompassed with an aura of evil that only Sousuke can seem to tolerate. In his case, he's just that oblivious. Thus the reason for her cloak which keeps the aura at bay.

Clairvoyance:

Having fought the Seraphim and their hosts, she is unmatched in perception. Fighting thousands of wars is nothing compared to battle against the angelic legions of heaven.

Casting:

Even though she doesn't have access to her vast array of demonic powers, she can cast a number of human made spells. She is a caster after all. But she is only classified as such because that is all she can do in the beginning. Her mastery of these spells are perfect of course, for they are nothing but child's play compared to some of the more powerful demonic magics she has access to when she has demonic energy ready. Mind you that this is done by channeling her master's prana directly into the spell since all of the prana she has is keeping her in the mortal realm

History

Berith belonged to the second highest order of the angelic legions, the cherubim, before the fall. She fought on the side of Lucifer and was banished. She now rules in the 6th layer of hell where she was imprisoned (the seventh belongs to Lucifer and the fallen seraphim. Like others before her, she used the holy grail war to key herself out onto the Earth...

Description:

She has Black hair, yellow eyes, and a regal figure. Her skin is pasty white.
She often wears black and red robe and a pure white tiara with fiery red jewels. When in combat, her clothing becomes a black and burnng corset and knee high shoes. She wears long gloves as well. Her fallen angel wings protrude from her back. She has 6 wings. Signifying her status as a 6th layer demon. Her battle outfit IS made of demonic material, demonic dragon hide to be exact, thus making it substantially stronger than normal equipment. It cannot be employed without demonic energy. Thus, without demonic energy, her standard battle form is just her normal caster cloak covering her usual black and red robes. She also has a pendant of gold with a pitch black jewel in the center.

Equipment:

Robes of Malice: Provide minor protection and easy to move around in.

Cloak of Aura Suppression: stolen from a mage that attempted to summon her. Hides her demonic aura.

Demon Empress Armor: especially made armor that can deflect a lot of attacks due to its demonic properties and material. Also guards against spells and temperature.

Seraphim Circlet of Divine Protection: looted off of a Seraphim's dead body she slew. It provides protection against demonic, mind, emotion, holy, and elemental attacks. Worn as a prize of war. Can now be used by herself due to the trace amounts of angelic and demonic energy found in the Sousuke's prana.

Malign Amulet of Blood: An amulet forged with her own blood. Has a small amount of demonic magic. Created as an emergency safeguard to give her enough time to find a master. Otherwise, she would immediately die as soon as she entered the human world.

Noble Phantasm:

Oathbreaker: Rank C+
Type: Anti Unit, mind alter
She summons from hell her trusted lance. This lance is said to break the enemy's faith in themselves. It pierces both body and mind. While inflicting damage, it also damages the victim's faith in themselves, their abilities. It creates doubt and fear.

Devil's Tongue (passive ability): D-A+
Type: Emotion/Empathy manipulation

She uses her demonic energy to create a seduction aura that amplifies her sexual attractiveness. Those under her charm will do her will under the pretense of a night in bed with her. It works by making her aura appeal to a person's sexual desires. High libido=better effect. ANYONE with a libido can be effected. It's just a matter of how much. Will doesn't have an effect on this because it plays and amplifies a person's emotions which disrupt conscious thought (i.e. those who love tend not to think things through).

It's drawback is that its effectiveness is reliant on a person's libido AND it requires demonic energy, not prana. It also doesn't affect people afflicted with innocence (i.e. little children, Sousuke, zombies, Sousuke, REAL PIOUS priests, and don't forget Sousuke). She can only, thus, use it for small amounts of time.

Strength of one's god-like nature. The more godlike blood possessed, the higher this stat becomes. As a valkyrie BrynhildrÆs existence can be considered divine. However, she is truly of human birth, born of a Great King of old, and thus her divinity is equivalent to that of a demi-God.

Rank: C
The ability to cancel or diminish the effects of sorcery used against oneself. At this rank, spells that are cast with a chant of up to three to five verses are negated. Note that here a 'verse' is constituted of at least three phrases. About as powerful as an advanced protective amulet.

Mana Burst
Rank: A
This transfers magical energy into one's weapon and body, and by releasing the magical energy instantaneously, it increases one's ability. Simply said, it is like magical energy jet propulsion. Brynhildr uses this magical energy for her sword techniques, guarding, and movement.

Rank: B-
Natural talent to command an army. The Valkyries were charged with the choosing and the guiding of the souls of the battle-slain, the einherjar, to their place in Valhalla for the final battle at the twilight of the Gods, Ragnarok. Brynhildr, despite her high status amongst the Valkyrie, was not exempt from this task, and proved highly capable at it.

Eye of the Mind (True)
Rank: C
The ability to effectuate rapid and precise judgments gained through experience and training. Brynhildr is capable of calmly analyzing situations even during a battle, applying strategy and skills to turn the tables in her favor. It is one of the skills required of her as a war maiden in leading the Einherjar in battle.

The Royal Blade passed down the Nibelung (Niflung) lineage. It is a sword said to have been given to Nefi, founder of the Nibeling lineage, by the Father of Lineages, Halfdan the Old, himself. The blade was known to have slain Sigurd in the hands of Gothurm, Fafnir by the hands of Sigfried, and Sigfried himself by the hands of Hagen. However, due to Brynhildr's small stature and strength limitations the effective stats of Nibelung Balmung is brought down by two whole levels.

A dwarven chain with the appearance of a silken ribbon. It was forged by the dwarves, on OdinÆs orders, from six wondrous ingredients - the sound of a cat's footfall, the beard of a woman, the roots of a mountain, bear's sinews, fish's breath, and bird's spittle. It has the power to restrain the great wolf, Fenrisulfr (Fenrir), allowing him to be ridden as BrynhildrÆs steed. Valkyries have always been known to ride on the backs of great wolves and BrynhildrÆs was the most powerful of them all, Fenrir. In addition to basic attacks, Fenrir can make use of the hand of Tyr which he had eaten from the Norse god of battle victory, Tyr, to cast a support spell that invigorates all allies within its area of influence. Fenrir can also unleash the blade, Merodach, which was stuck in his snout to gag him by charging manna into it and expelling a huge manna discharge, similar to that wielded by Excalibur and Gram.

She can also use it to attack, either by increasing the cluster radius to attack a large field around her or by sending off the blades individually as projectiles. Is completely ineffective against magic attacks.

An augmented advanced form of Hj÷r?rimul, Brynhildr can summon her Einherjar followers from the halls of Valhalla into the physical realm. However, due to their unstable demi-god existence, they break asunder the foundations of reality around them and cause time/space faults to form. Thus they can only be perceived as transparent distortions of vision.

Notes: Brynhildr commands a sizeable arsenal of noble phantasms. However, the mana costs of her noble phantasms are stellarly high and due to her Master's limitations using any of the higher level skills recklessly could lead to severe injuries and even death.

Notable Skills/Items: Holds possession of Draupnir, the mythical ring of Odin. However, it wasn't really meant for human use and as a fledgling mage he could only unlock one of its lesser powers which is the ability to speed-cast rune magic with shortened incantations. Beyond is a novice mage and specializes in Norse rune spells.
Affiliation: Chaotic Good

Is generally laid back and a little lazy, a little dispirited and disillusioned due to past experience. His only ambition is to practice enough runology to wing his way through the Magus Association's Academy of Magic course. He is a member of their London Branch, 'Clock Tower', and is currently on study leave.

He decided to attempt a rune summon using Draupnir as his medium for a practice session one day. He only expected to summon perhaps a lesser einherjar who he would banish soon after. He underestimated Draupnir's potential and instead accidentally summoned, not just one servant, but two, Brynhildr and Sigrun, two valkyrie princesses of Odin. And the command spells meant backing out of the deal was out of the question. What now?

Will his meager manna reserves be enough to maintain the two quirky girls through everyday life? Will he even be able to put up a decent fight to defend himself in the war?

For Beyond, his days as a true mage have only just begun...

Interesting Tidbit: HATES CURRY. Has a fondness for coffee, in particular double doubles.

Story: Assigned to mediate conflicts in this latest Holy Grail War. A kind-hearted and humourous individual, he will attempt to assist anybody who comes to his Church in need of genuine assistance.

Thanks for the bot. I didn't know how to go about continuing, but you gave me material. The problem is that Sousuke doesn't know about the grail war... well that and that we only have four people RPing.

Aries never understood sorcery, and, having achieved powers through other means, never took much interest into learning the difficult and quite often unrewarding skill of magic when he could hone his battle abilities through other paths. Thus, his ability of to block sorcery directly is only basic, and indeed, his philosophy when dealing with magi is often "kill the caster instead of blocking the spell".

Eye of the Mind (True): B+

Endless years of death, blood, and warfare have honed Aries' strategic skills to perfection. As long as there's a 1% chance of victory, he can devise a plan to exploit it.

Battle Continuation: A+

No matter what you do to him, Aries won't. Fucking. Die. Capable of fighting even when near death, the only way to completely get rid of him is to inflict massive damage to his spiritual core after he's already exhausted all of his power reserves. Note I said "get rid of him". Defeating him, while no mean feat, is somewhat easier.

Hidden Power: A++

The strange, mysterious nature of Aries' Reality Marble seems to be able to seep into the real world, allowing him to perform reality-defying feats that are not characteristic of his class and situation. Regeneration, teleportation, increased magic resistance, summoning, anything. Twin magical daggers that have been passed down through Theresa's family over the generations. The pair are basically the opposite of Medea's Rule Breaker: the right hand dagger greatly increases the effect of all positive enchantments on a target, and can increase the effect of healing magics and magic resistance. The left hand dagger is equally powerful - it increases the effect of all negative enchantments on a target, as well as any magical handicaps the target may have had previously (such as the constant mana drain required to keep a materialized Servant summoned).

Both daggers are ineffective when used on other Noble Phantasms.

Necronomicon Ex Mortis - And the Dead Spiral Into Madness

Another family heirloom, at this stage far less useful than the Rule Makers. A strange black book written in a language Theresa cannot understand, and which causes headaches and nausea whenever she tries to decipher it. To make things stranger, its yellowed out pages seem charged with a dark energy.

The catalyst used to summon Aries.

Gotta work hard. Still haven't finished creating caster. She was based on real myth demon warlord who's dressed like a knight. Thus the lance and steed. But real badass demons don't rely on weapons so...

Besides, Archer Shirou used swords more than bows and anyway. She can be a caster, lancer, rider thing... girl.... that wants to destroy the world but is held back by her goofball master.

Yeah...

Still need to come up with her ultimate noble phantasm and any others.

Jeeze, grail combat so early between players. Not that I intend to die that early.

I was hoping for some niceties and the such, but, if you really want to fight...

Cause in reality, she's more of knight than she is a caster.... well, at least an anime type knight with very skimpy armor that somehow protects its wielder awesomely. Well, I"ll post soon... it won't be long, but enough that Epsilon will force you to stay your sword.

Yeah, I didn't exactly expect to off you and your Servant in the first strike. However, I was faced with a ton of introductory writing and no idea what to do after it. Thus, the attack.

Hey, I was just going to go with the "surprise buttsex, daggertail around ur throatz!" approach. I blame Cyberscythe for the fight going public. :p

'sides, think of it. My character's Master doesn't know who Nero is. Aries doesn't give a damn either way. So, they're more likely to try to nail the new Master and leave the Mediator and his friends to get slaughtered by someone they see no point in fighting rather than engage Nero, which earns them nothing.

Just to let you know, Nero's beasts regenerate awfully fast. So every time you kill one, it just disappears and comes out again from Nero's body one-two seconds later.

Sorry for the lack of activity on my end.

Wait, does it mean those bastards just don't die or that they get replaced very damn fast. Cause, unless Shiki get's another lucky hit in, there's no way to kill him. Unless, Caster can gather enough demonic energy for one of her higher tier spells capable of a leveling a city block which won't happen anytime soon. Or that reality marble thing of Aries.

When destroyed, the beasts return to the chaos and are regenerated, making him virtually immortal unless all 666 lives are obliterated at once before they have the chance to revive. This is straight from the Tsukihime Vampires article on Answers.com which is mostly accurate. The only way he was killed last time was with Shiki's Mystic Eyes stabbing his point.
