The chapter was interesting... I would have preferred more fallout from the betrayal at the start. The simple fact of the matter is while Shirou might overlook such things, the target was not him but Ayaka, and I not only would have told the church exactly what was attempted on a contracted party by their representative, but also that due to it he would not be accepting any more contracts from them... The church after all contracts a lot of specialists and indiiduals, were something to upset all those individuals into following suite... the church will have taken a major hit. That may well get a whole bunch of parties put out with the church...
Overall I like the story well enough, I'm uncertain I care for the idea of fan fiction authors getting money for their chapters, mostly due to the legalities involved. Potentially it could draw a heck of a lot of attention that the communities do not need.
If you do not think it a big deal, consider the whole nastiness of the Star Trek debacle... of CBS/Paramount and fan films... I'd hate to see someone attempting to implement and enforce whacked out rules stating chapter sizes or story lengths... Their heavy handedness in that lost myself as a fan... I've yet to see Discovery, or desire to pay special for it since they decided to penalize U.S. viewers.
Also, I'll note in no way does this setup mean that there is a guarantee any particular story will finish with an ending.
